Ryle's POV

Raylie hasn't been out. Is something wrong? Or is he uncomfortable with me being here?

"Papa, if you're worrying about Raylie, you don't have to. It's not normal for anyone to act like that but it's okay." Sigh. Now, I'm regretting everything with double guilt. And it's not okay, I want to see him.

"Isn't he bored by just staying in his room?" He can play with us anytime he wants. I would love that if that happens. I'm sure he will also enjoy it.

"No, and he likes it that way." Why? It pains me to not see him here while his siblings are enjoying the day.

"You will understand it when he tell you about that thing and after you see it." I'm confuse but I can't just ask them. I'll just wait for Yunnie or Raylie to tell me about what's happening. I have this feeling that they won't tell me even if I ask them.

I can wait for him to be open to me. I'm sure they also waited for me to see them and I'm glad that I came that day to see Yunnie in her office.

"Papa, you love us, right? Even mama?" I immediately turn my eyes on her.

"Of course, I love mama so much, too." I saw her smile. Whenever she smiles her whole expression also changes not just her lips or face but her whole aura.

"You will accept mama even though, she's sick?" Sick? She's sick? Since when?

"Mama is sick?" I didn't know about that, did she hid it to me?

"Yes, she confessed to us about her illness. She said that, if we saw her doing something bad that means she's out of control and that we need to hide or run to aunt Stacy and aunt Mae." Is it related to what had happened that time she killed that woman?

"Did you already saw her like that?" She shook her head.

"No, but she said she can't control it." Can't control what?

"Papa." Kraylie went near us. "We can't exactly tell about that thing but we can give you a warning about the trigger." Trigger? What trigger? I'm honestly lost.

"Yes, mama said it's a promise and a secret so we can't tell you about that." I can't have my kids get into trouble. If that's the case then I'll just wait for Yunnie to tell me everything.

"What's the trigger?"

"Mama said, we need to avoid getting hurt by other people." That's the trigger? For what? "We need to do it for mama and Raylie's sake." Do they share the same illness?

Is Raylie also sick? What kind of illness?

"Papa, avoid getting hurt in front of mama and Raylie. You have to promise it." I don't understand but I don't want to make the same mistake.

"We're telling this to you because we want to protect Raylie." I'm relieved. They care for each other even though, they often argue.

"Okay, I promise."

Yunnie's POV

I'm happy seeing those three together but of course I'll be more happy if Raylie is in the picture.

It's sad that he's in his room. I know that he's just worried and doesn't mean anything harmful.

I stood up and went to check on Raylie. When I entered his room, I first noticed his open window where the wind is blowing.

He's just staring at the window. My poor baby, he's all by himself in his room.

"Baby?" He immediately looked at my direction.
