After dinner, Alastor wanted to walk home.

I was a bit nervous, but he promised me as long as he was there I was safe. Of course I believed him, but I didn't want our night ruined by a rotten event...

But I agreed.

We were walking down the street, the soft glow of the street lamps the only source of light other than the soft moon glow.

Alastor took a deep breath, and I looked over at him.

"You ok?"

He looked down at me, seeming surprised by my question.

Then he nodded, "yes, yes of course..." his eyes trained back towards the sky, and he was silent for a moment before continuing, "...in hell, there aren't any stars or...or a moon or night or day..."

His voice was soft, "and I'd never admit this to anyone down there...but I miss this," his voice was barely a above a whisper.

I nodded, "I bet you do...I would, if I were stuck in hell," I replied.

My eyes widened when I felt his hand intertwined with mine. I looked down at our hands quickly then up at him.

He was smiling at me...but it wasn't his normal smile. My cheeks grew hot.

"But I'm not stuck anymore..." was his soft response, and I nearly gasped.

"O-oh Alastor...s-stop it you're making my face all red..." I mumbled as we kept walking hand in hand.

Never could I have imagined that cold, calculated and mysterious demon I met could be so...

Human.

He chuckled and gave my hand a soft squeeze.

I looked over at him, and his soft light brown skin had a glow in the moonlight. I glanced at his lips.

They were somewhat full...I'm not sure how to describe it. They weren't thin, but they weren't pouty either.

I thought about my own lips, how they were full and pouty. I'd always been self conscious of my lips.

His hair had fallen somewhat from its fixed state and I pursed my lips. I like it better like...

This.

I stopped and turned him towards me, my eyes glued to his hair. I got onto my tip toes and reached up, my fingers burying themselves into his hair.

It's soft...no surprise there.

I fluffed it out, and fell back onto my heals before snorting at his new appearance.

"Oh my god..." I giggled, and he was standing with a thin grin on his face, hands by his sides, looking pitiful.

His hair was crazy looking, and fell in front of his eyes.

I could barely see those red-brown eyes and he rolled them heavily, but his gentle smile told me enough about how he really felt.

"Wow, thank you," he said monotonously, and then snatched my hand up again before snapping his fingers.

We appeared back at my apartment, and I turned around and actually jumped slightly when standing there was the 7ft tall demon I've become so close to.

"I thought we were past that," he chuckled and I rolled my eyes.

"I wasn't expecting you to change back on the way here," I said, a pout on my face.

I looked at his outfit, and pursed my lips.

"What?" He asked and I tilted my head.

"Come with me," I said, grabbing his hand and pulling him towards my room. I sat him on my bed, and went to my drawers.
