Narrator POV

The TV demon was shocked. He thought Valentino was distracting him! There's no way Alastor beat Val so easily?!

Alastor's low growl snapped Vox's attention back into the current moment. He needed to think fast, this plan can't fall through!

Roughly, Vox wrapped his claws around Ariels arm, yanking her towards him. He lowered his eyes at Alastor, his voice turning dark.

"Meet me outside, you Radio fuck."

With that, electricity surrounded the two, and Alastor watched in fury as they disappeared. In an instant he teleported outside. All around them was carnage caused by Alastor ripping the city apart to find this specific limousine.

Valentino was very helpful. He had provided Alastor with the description, along with the location. All's well in a good business deal.

**

"Let's make a deal." Alastor's low voice said just above a whisper.

Valentino swallowed hard, leaning away from the furious overlord. No one had ever pissed Alastor off to the extent he is right now, and Valentino didn't want to be erased just yet.

He'd do anything.

"What were ya thinkin, sexy?" He managed to quip with a nervous chuckle. Alastor snarled and tightened his grip on the moth's throat.

"You get 1/3 of my territory, western side. Do with it what you will, and in return you tell me exactly where she is," he growled, "or I'll rip you apart and eat you."

"Deal?"

**

Alastor's razor-tooth smile widened impossibly. Vox held Ariel by the arm, blood falling from the wounds inflicted by his claws.

She was trying her best to sit still so his claws would stop slicing her. A small whimper left her throat and Alastor's eyes softened as he looked at her.

Then immediately went to stone as he focused back on his enemy.

"Let her go, or I will kill you. This can end peacefully, I'm willing to walk away if you just hand her over," he growled lowly, taking casual steps forward.

Vox scoffed, "you must be stupid. You think I'm just going to hand over a fine little thing like her? No...if I can't have your territory...I'll just take something of equal value," the tv sneered and Alastor summoned his microphone without an ounce of hesitation.

He slammed the end into the concrete and it split beneath them, black tentacles crawling out.

Vox knew he was cornered, outmatched, and out of time.

Valentino must have sold him out...fucking bastard.

Vox tried to hide his panic, and yanked Ariel in front of him, putting his claws to her neck. Alastor froze, his eyes widening.

"One more step and she's gone," Vox threatened, "I'm not playing. It's either her life, or your territory," his electric grin widened, "go ahead and pick one."

Alastor blinked, looking at Ariels helpless position. How...how can he save her and win this battle. If he gives up his territory, it's a death sentence for both of them.

Vox knows that.

"Alastor..."

His eyes met those big green eyes he loves so much. Her lip quivered and she reached out for him, a tiny sob escaping her throat.
