I walked away from the house, walked away from Maura and she stuck up boyfriend.

I didn't want this jealousy that seeped into me. It was unwanted and could go to hell. Having Riley throw me off Maura and try to punch me was the last straw.

I wasn't going to be in the way if that was what Maura wanted. It would be better to stay away from her.

What was worse is I had finally started to look through the past I had with Maura, I wanted to give her a chance, is she let me.

I jumped on my motorbike and drove home. It was Friday night, my dad was home. If I snuck through my window I wouldn't have to deal with him.

Once I got home I parked my bike a few houses down from my own. I quietly walked towards our house, towards the side and started climbing up the windows and overhangs.

Slowly, I opened my second floor window and jumped inside my dark bedroom. I switched on the light, illuminating the plainest bedroom to exist.

I never found the point of decorating, my room was occupied by a bed, desk and a TV. One wall was covered with sketches that I was either working on or I was actually proud of.

My door slammed open, I jumped at the sudden noise. My dad was standing in the threshold of the doorway.

"You're grounded." He seethed.

"I haven't been grounded for a week." I said, crossing my arms.

Ever since I got back from the city my dad had the idea that I was grounded. Yet my mum never stuck with it, she was never concerned enough to care.

"Well, I said you were grounded, so you are. That means you aren't allowed to go outside of this house unless for school." My dad stepped closer towards me.

I couldn't help but flinch as he slammed the door and raised his hand.

I wasn't afraid of anyone. Except for my father.

"Our Biology class will be attending a camp, starting on Wednesday and finishing on Friday. It is located an hour away in a retreat in the forest. There is a camp there with limited rooms. There will be no rule-breaking, if there is, parents will be contacted." My biology teacher, Miss Albert, said.

I looked around the class, scanning the people that I will be stuck with for three days. I decided it wouldn't be too bad when I noticed Riley wasn't in this class, until I found Tiffany and Maura sitting together.

I kept my eyes on Maura for a second. She looked like she wanted to murder Tiffany, that was the only thing we seemed to agree on.

Wednesday came, we were to meet at the school at 7:00, I got there at 6:50 and found Maura standing by herself beside her car.

The urge to go over to her nearly overwhelmed me. Yet I stopped myself when she looked at me, a smirk playing on her lips.

As awful as it sounded, it felt Nate was now only an excuse to hate her, to stay away from her. Because she was all I could think about, even with her snarky comments, she plaqued my mind.
