Maura

No, please no.

I stared at the single bed before me. The only bed in the room. I heard Adrien chuckle from behind me.

I turned around, hoping he would see how pissed off I was. "Of course I got stuck with you in a single bed motel room. You're sleeping on the floor." I demanded.

"Not a chance princess." Adrien said, an amused look in his eyes.

I groaned out loud and walked into the room. There was a small bathroom adjacent to the room, a bathtub lined one wall.

"You can sleep in the bathtub." I said, walking back out into the room, crossing my arms.

Adrien raised a brow. "I don't have a problem with sharing a bed with you, so i'll sleep on the bed either way." He said.

I threw my bag at him, hoping the scissors I brought would hit him in the face through the bag.

Adrien only stepped to the side and watched as the bag hit the wall and rebounded onto the ground. "Fine, I'll sleep in the bathtub, but I get the sheets." I negotiated.

"That works with me, I normally sleep naked with no sheets anyway." Adrien said, placing his bag on the ground, looking undisturbed.

"Fuck you." I muttered, yet my cheeks heated up slightly at the imagine that crossed my mind.

We walked from the room and made our way back into the lobby. The rest of the class was waiting for us.

Miss Albert set off outside, we all followed. We spent the majority of the day walking through the forest, studying the plant life.

It had to be the worst school experience by far. Soon we were walking beside a river, Miss Albert was explaining the properties of water and nonsense that I didn't understand.

The whole time I felt Adrien watching me, yet he kept his distance. I spun around to tell him to stare at someone else.

The thought left my mind as I watched Tiffany run up beside him. Adrien looked at Tiffany who was walking beside the river.

One second she was rambling on about clothes, the next she was falling head first into the river. Adrien's outstretched foot went back to his side as she started screaming for help.

The amount of power it took for me to keep my laugh in was impressive. I looked at Adrien and I knew he was struggling to keep it together just as much.

"Adrien, help me!" Tiffany began screaming, her arms were flying around and splashing against the water. Adrien stood at the edge and did nothing.

"Adrien, help her." Miss Albert said sternly.

Adrien grumbled a reply and jumped into the river. The water only reached up to his waist. He could stand easily, which meant Tiffany could stand just as well.

I rolled my eyes as Tiffany kept flailing around like a drowning rat. Adrien walked over to her and slung her over his shoulder and walked back. He dumped her onto the river bank and slid out, not giving the drenched girl another look.
