Maura
My arms tightened around Adrien's waist in a way that I have gotten used to. I closed my eyes and rested my head against Adrien's back, my stomach feeling nauseous after breaking into Riley's house.
I hated to admit that I wanted to search through the blackmail book, only to find if he had any information on me. And if he did, he would know everything and most likely use it against me.
The only thing that had me going what that he hadn't mentioned anything of the sort. Yet.
I felt as Adrien stopped his bike, I looked up, surprised to find us outside another house and not my own.
"We aren't breaking into another house." I groaned, I was too tired for it.
Adrien chuckled as he gently pulled my arms from around him and stood from the bike. "This is my home, though don't get to relaxed, we are going to have to break in anyway."
I slid off the bike and took in the two story family home. It was a descent place, defiantly on the wealthier side.
I followed Adrien as he crept towards the side of the house, taking one glance at the truck parked in the drive.
He stopped before a drain pipe, an window open above on the second floor.
"Oh, hell no." I cried out. Adrien put a hand on my mouth, a worried look in his eye.
"Shh, I can't let my dad here us." He said quietly. I recalled the bruises on his body and wisely shut up for him.
Adrien took hold of the pipe and began to climb his way up. I rose my brows, impressed by the way his arms strained at the movement.
"Are you coming or what?" Adrien whisper-yelled down towards me.
I sighed before grabbing hold of the bottom of the pipe and began to climb up in the same way Adrien did, but differently less graceful.
By the time I was halfway, I looked up to find Adrien already in the window, watching me intently. I glared at him and his god-awful way of entering his own home.
Once I reached the window, I awkwardly pulled myself over the window sill and landed on the floor in a heap. Adrien began to laugh before he helped me up.
"You are meant to land on your feet." He chuckled. I swatted away his helping arms as I stood. "I'm just going to use the front door next time." I grumbled.
I looked around the room and noticed how bare the walls were, save for the sketches pinned up on one side.
"You really need to learn how to decorate." I said with squinted eyes.
"I'm not one for it i'm afraid." Adrien took off his shoes and sat down at the foot of his bed. I looked at the jacket he was wearing and remembered him taking it from Riley's room.
"Are you really going to wear that, it stinking up the whole room." I grumbled. I leant against one wall, becoming aware of how strange it was to be inside Adrien's bedroom.
I looked back at him when I heard the sound of material moving. Adrien now stood, jacket dangling in one hand, his toned chest bare.
