*6 years later*
"Miss Reeve, I'll just have you sign something."
Grace, my secretary, and a Filipino also, walked inside my office and walked towards my table. She put down the paper that I will be going to sign. I read it first before signing it. After that, she walked out and went to her table outside my office.
I leaned back in my chair and sighed. It's been six years since I went back here to London. I was with my mom and Kuya. We left dad in the Philippines, but after a month, he followed us. Nag-usap na sila ni mom and after nun, naging okay na sila bigla.
Sumunod naman niya ako kinausap and he also say sorry. He explained to me everything pero parang may kulang. Honestly, his reason doesn't make sense. He told me that it was not his intention to cheat on mom because that woman is just his college friend. But what's with the holding hands? I'm not questioning the part that they were alone together, but the part that they are holding each other's hands? What is that? Even though I'm not satisfied with his reasons, wala na akong nagawa. I saw how my mom got so happy after they talked, and I'm okay with that. As long as they're happy.
I became an intern here in our company and I also took a seminar. It's very hard at first, pero nasanay din ako. My dad and my brother was there to guide me and I'm very thankful for that.
My friends that I left in the Philippines, Rae and Arya, alam nila lahat ang nangyari and before ako umalis ay nasabi ko din sa kanila iyon. Iyak kami nang iyak noon habang naka video call. Until now we're still keeping it touch.
She's one of my friend way back in high school.
"Don't you have any free time? You've been working for like a year already!"
"You know my position in the company, Elisha.
"I have been noticing that you two are just casually walking inside my office. Have you forgotten that I'm still your boss?" I glared at them.
