It's been about a week since Zara has left the house, she's honestly terrified after what happened to her and what she saw.

"Mom said get up, you already missed a week of school, you're not allowed to miss anymore."

Her younger brother, Liam said when he opens her door. She turns over on her bed and throws a pillow at him causing him to run out and she goes back to overthinking. How was it possible his eyes were normal then out of no where they started glowing blue. She's been having these nightmares too, every night. It's always the same thing red glowing eyes flowing chasing her through through a dark hall until if finally catches up to her. She always wakes up before she could figure out what's happened next. Finally a small knock comes from her door, she ignores it but eventually it's starts opening up

"God, just leave-."

She turns around and sees her dad standing at the door. She jumps up out of bed and jumps into her dads arms. Her parents split two years ago. Her mom couldn't deal with him traveling to much and not being home with them.

"What are you doing here?"

Zara asked as she moves away from the hug. All her worries completely have been lifted from her shoulder.

"Mom called, you've missed a week of school, Zee that's not like you. I was worried so i came home to check up on you."

He said, as they both take a seat on her bed.

"I'm fine, I just needed a break I promise."

She forced a big smile on her face. But true be told she was scared, what if he came back to her?

"You know you can alway-."

He began to say but was cut off

"Dad i'm fine, I always am."

She gave him another big smile. He begins to get up and walk away but she stepped in front of him, so he couldn't.

"What do you know about the Parker family?"

She said. His face went pale, and he stopped in his tracks. His smile disappeared from his face for a moment but he quickly was put it back.

"No, nothing."

He said but then went very quiet, they both did. Zara always knew when her father lied. I mean he did it so much she kind of had too.

"Get ready and come get some breakfast. I'll take you to school today."

He placed his hand on her shoulder then proceeded to walk out. She rolled her eyes and plopped on her bed. What was so important about this Parker family? She needed answer, and now.

As they pulled up to the school it was full of students gathering up. Most of the meeting up with friends and others just dreading going back into the school. The whole ride to school was quiet and awkward so as soon as they pulled up she hopped out the car.

"Hey, have a good day."

He shouted as she walked away but she refused to turn back around to him. As she got closer to the school she looked around for Stiles and Scott. They always wait at Stiles car for her so this wasn't normal but also wasn't a big deal. Finally the first bells ring, the 5 minute bell so she quickly rushed into the building. She made her way to first period, geography. She walks in and sees someone at her seat and was immediately confused. Stiles and Scott seemed to be amused by her. She walks over to the empty desk, that was next to her old seat. They didn't even notice her, they haven't seen their friend in weeks and nothing. Zara turns around to Stiles who was behind her.
