Malia whole plan was a big risk, it would involve finally taking down Kai but there was a big risk it could take Zara out too. They sat in the car for hours that night, both in silence. In the end they still hadn't come up with an agreement. If they were going through with it they needed to know now, full moon was only two nights away that would be their chance to go through with the merge.

The night day while at school, she couldn't focus. She spaced out, unable to focus the whole time. Class had ended but she was to wrapped up in her own mind to even notice.
"Earth to Zee." Scott said as he sat down beside her and Stiles in front of her.
Stiles waved his hand in her face, until he got her attention. "What's up?" He asked placing his hand over hers.
She wanted to blur it out, she needed too but she knew they wouldn't go along with it. Not even if it meant their whole lives could possibly be over.
"Zara?" Scott asked again.
"I'm fine." She assured them before she rushed off.
She couldn't do it, she couldn't explain to her boyfriend and best friend that in order to get rid of their biggest problem, she might have to die.

Zara went back to the place it all started, the old abandoned Hale house. So many memories filled her head as she walked in.. so many happy ones and yet so many sad ones.
Like the moment where Derek told her the truth about herself.. the place her and Erica would met up...
She sat on the porch and opened up her bag to pull out the grimoire Malia stole from Kai. She pulled the page up with the spell that would help her. She pulled out a couple candles and began to light them up all in a circle going clockwise. As she goes to light the last candle, she hears footsteps coming closer.
She jumps up, she get a better look and as soon as she does Derek steps out from behind the trees.
"Oh have times change." He laughs as he gets closer. "Am I interrupting something?" He asked once he notices the candles.
"A little." She respond as she tries to close the book before he saw it but it was too late.
"Was that a merging spell?" Derek grew concerned. He tried to reach out and take the grimoire but Zara was too quick.
"This is none of your business."
"I told you the moment Kai brought it up, you aren't risking it. It's not just about power it's about IQ and technique."
"Which you obviously don't think I have." Zara snapped back, turning her back away from him.
"It doesn't matter what I think, you're not doing it." Derek pauses out of frustration. "If you lose Kai will be stronger then ever."
Zara takes a moment to think before she talks but it just blurred out before she could finish. "And what if I can make sure he doesn't." She swings around to look at him again. "He'll be gone forever."
Derek looked at her confused but still stood quiet to listen. He took a seat on the porch, while she sat beside him.
"I found a spell hidden from our coven, If I siphon enough power.. I mean like reach my complete limit.."
"Zara it's not just—." Derek tried cutting her off but she did it back.
"While merging were not conscious so we're basically weak, I let him think he's winning then I go into his head."
"Nooo." Derek stood up almost immediately.
"Derek please listen." She looked up at him, with watery eyes. Once he sat back down she was able to finish. "Once i'm in head, I find his subconscious and kill it, but if I don't make it out in time.." She paused.
"You die?" Derek finished.
Zara nodded her head, yes..

Zara went home immediately, she needed to clear her mind so she decided to cook Liam his favorite meal. It actually worked for a moment nothing was on her mind.
She jumped when she heard the door slam open.
"Are you serious?" Liam came rushing into the kitchen, shouting at her. "How could you possibly do something stupid."
She rushed over to stand in front of him, trying to calm him down. "Come on, let not-."
"No we're talking about this, Im tired of being the last person to know anything."
"Okay so let's talk." She sat him down while she stayed standing.
"How could you be selfish, did you even think about how I would feel if you die?" Liam finally stopped shouting.
"That's why I'm doing this.. I've made so many mistakes, this is my way of fixing it." She took a deep breath. "For you.. for mom.."
Liam quickly looked up once he heard mom, his eyes began to get watery.
"And plus there's a chance I can survive." She added. "I just need you to."
Before she could finish Liam jumped in to hug her. She could hear his heart pounding. This broke her, out of everyone she had hurt this was the one that might break her.
"What is this?" Michael walks into the room, placing his bag on the table.
Zara and Michael may not have got along.. ever.. but the way Liam looked at him and her made her eyes watery. Zara reached out her arm for him and pulled him into their hug.
"What is this for?" Michael asked.
"For still being there for us.. even after everything." Zara whispered.
"You texted ?" Stiles said as him, Scott and Kira walk into the kitchen.
As soon as Michael saw them he looked back at Zara.
"What?" She paused. "It's just a.. family dinner."
"You know we wouldn't miss it either." Derek chuckled as him, Malia and Peter walk in. "Oh yea and we found him." Derek pulled Derek from around the corner.
Everyone Zara had loved was standing in front of her.. all except one.. or more..
"Let's eat!" Liam called out.
The guys had step the table, while Liam began to pour drink and Zara was brought food to the table. They all had different conversations going but for the first time they were all together.. no fighting.. no problems just peace. This was the moment that would forever be imprinted in her brain. All Zara could do was laugh and enjoy this moment with her friends and family because who knows if this'll ever happen again.
