It was a dark cold night but Zara couldn't sleep, she was honestly scared of herself. She saw what she did to Derek, what if she does it to an innocent person. Her mom told her about the Coven and how crazy it was and why she left. It made sense, her older brother tried to kill her and her sibling and she was one of the only ones to get away. It was pretty understandable but why lie about it for so long. She also wasn't a regular witch but a Siphoner. Her mom didn't think any of children would get any powers considering her father took hers away when she was younger. Next thing she knows she heard her door slowly crack open. It was her dad, she slowly made her way into the room. Zara sit up in her bed as her dad sits at the bottom. He had a big old book in his hands.

"You're mom told me about what happened. I'm-."

He said but before he could finish she hugged him tightly.

"I'm scared dad."

She whispered in his ear as they hugged. He felt bad for her, he could hear the fear in her voice and he couldn't do anything about it.

"Your mother didn't think you were ready for this but i do, you're a parker it's your birth right."

He hand the the old book.

"What is it?"

She asked as she flips through the pages.

"Your covens grimoire, it'll help you with spells and can help also help you control your powers. The only rules is, this doesn't leave your sight and nobody can know what you are."

He explained. She looked very confused. Three people already knew her secret but she trusted them so she didn't tell him but this was starting to feeling like at of pressure. He stand up to leave but before he does he turns to her.

"I love you Zee, can't wait to see how much of an amazing witch you'll become."

The next day at school as soon as Zara was dropped off she was greeted by Scott.

"You know how we told you about the hunters the other day, well it's Chris Argent.. Allison's dad. Now his sisters in town too"

Scott said almost immediately as he got over to Zara. He seemed hurt and confused. Scott liked Allison a lot but what would that mean for him and her.

"Is she one? because if she is, Scott that can be dangerous."

Zara added. She always felt as though she had to protect him and this was no different. Scott nodded his head. They both made their way into the school into the school together.

"Do you thi-."

Before Scott could finish they both were pulled into an empty boys bathroom by Stiles. As she made contact with Scott she felt the same energy as she did when she touched her dad and that really freaked her out.

"So I did a bunch of research on Siphoners witches and there probably just as cool as regular ones, just look."

Stiles pull out his laptop and shows them all the research he did.

"Eww, it's really fucking gross in here. We could've meet up in a classroom or anywhere else."

Zara looks around the messed up bathroom. Stiles pushes the laptop closer to her. They kind of look terrifying to Zara but as she was reading a line she say something that caught her attention.

"witches born without the ability to create their own magic but do have a rare power that allows them to siphon magic from other sources, like magical objects and other supernatural creature."
