Zara was leaving her brothers school conference at Beacon Hills Middle School. He walked by her side, staying quiet while she was clearly upset.

"I can't believe how many fights you have got into this year, what is up with you?" Zara shouted at her brother while they headed to the car.

He stayed quiet and didn't respond. As they make it to the car she stood in front of the passenger side, not letting him go in without answering. Derek came up swiftly behind them, causing Liam to flinch.

"Fine just get in the car, we'll talk later." Zara moved out the way, allowing him to get in the car. "What are you doing here?" She pulled Derek away from the car.

"A vampire" He pulled an old crumpled up paper from his pocket. "Olives a vampire" He hands her the paper.

Zara laughs as she takes the paper from his hand and slowly uncrumbling it. "This is a myth, they aren't real." She tried to hands back to Derek but he pushed it back to her.

"Just like werewolves and witches." Derek said.
Zara paused to think, she finally looks at the paper.

"Okay, I believe you." Zara looks up at Derek, trying to hide her fear.

The next day at school, Zara was walking out of the girls locker room. She sees Allison and tries to catch up to her.
"You and your family still killing high school kids, huh?" Zara asked sarcastically.

"Only the monstrous ones." Allison replied, not making eye contact with her.
The walk into the gym to see the rock climbing walk open. Allison and Zara both roll their eyes, absolutely annoyed.
"Look there's dead bodies popping up everywhere around here. Don't you think we should work together?" Allison finally turned to face Zara.

Zara took a moment to think. Olive was an Argent, Allison had to know her. Could they have been working together? She didn't have a good feeling about this but for some reason trusted Allison.

"I don't think i feel comfortable working with people who tried to kill me and is out for my best friend blood and—." Zara was in the middle of talking before she was cut off.
The gym filled with laughter, so she looked around to see what they were laughing about. It was Erica Reyes, she was a quiet kid that kids tend to bully. Deep down she felt bad but didn't know what to do.

"Derek turned someone." Allison grabbed Zara's arm, stopping her from being able to do anything.

Scott and Stiles made their way through the crowd.

"Are you guys good?" Scott asked, as they stopped right in front of them.

Zara yanks her arm back but before she could say anything a big bang filled the room. Zara pushed her way to the front of the room to see Erica seizing on the ground while Stiles, Scott and Allison followed. She dropped to the ground to turn Erica on her side. Zara was so mad, nobody was doing anything but laugh and stare. She could fell her skin get hot and before she knew it the lights began to flicker. Stiles very quickly caught onto what was happening and was trying to hint to Scott but he wasn't catching on.

At the hospital, Melissa Mccall was talking care of Erica while Zara stayed at the door. Melissa said something to make Erica smile which made Zara fell a bit relieved. As Melissa was leaving the room, she grabbed Zara hand.
