"Say, what do you all see when you're swimming?" I look up at a meteor shower sitting next to my favorite group of boys with our feet dipped in the pool.

"Actually...never mind," I giggled.

"Huh?" Rin.

"What?!" Rei.

"Sis..." Makoto.

"Mmm?" Haru.

"Never mind?" Nagisa.

I stood up, "Let's go,"

"Where are we going?!"

"Shut up. Listen... you hear that?"

"Uh-"

"Um..."

"Hear what?!"

"Sis, are you okay?"

"Yeah, I don't hear anything."

"I hear... the water," I close my eyes, "I feel the ocean breeze brush against every pore in being." I smiled, "Write down what you see when you're in the water, and let's bury it. We'll open them when we come together again in six years...the day before summer begins."

In elementary school, there was a new kid that joined our class at the Iwatobi Swim Club that my brother, Makoto Tachibana, and our friends, Haruka Nanase, and Nagisa Hazuki would go to every single day after school.

The boy's name is Rin Matsuoka.

Haru and I raced against him in the pool without even knowing. I felt this sudden urge to go faster, I felt someone trying to compete with me and no, it wasn't Haru.

I was in the middle of the two boys going at a normal speed enjoying the water flowing around me when I felt the aura of someone who wanted to race by my side.

I guess I was going fast, maybe. The boy had maroon hair from what I saw poking out through his swimming cap, he smirked showing his sharp-shark-like teeth as he passed me at his fullest speed.

Haru followed after me after he caught on to what was going on. I wasn't about to let the new kid show me and Haru up, especially not me. They don't call me the Marlin Queen, or Queen Marlin of the Pool for nothing.

Black Marlin's are the fastest sea animals with their highest speed documented at 82 miles per hour.

So I sped up, passing the new kid, and kept going until I smacked my hand onto the concrete of the pool just under the diving board. Makoto held out his hand to me and I looked up to him and he said, "Still the fastest one here, big sis." And he smiled, taking me out of the water as Haru looked up watching me get out of the pool.

Makoto held out his hand for Haru as well, "You did great Haruka," my brother said to him, "When are you going to stop calling me that?" Haru asked, grabbing his hand and getting pulled out.

"When you're faster than me," I chuckled, "Just kidding!" I smacked his back, "You're getting faster!" Nagisa walked up to us, "Oh wow! Watching you swim is so cool!" Nagisa clapped his hands together, "I hope someday I'll get to swim like you guys!"

The maroon-haired boy gasped out of the water, held himself on the safety ropes, and took off the swim cap as he spoke out, we all turned around, "They weren't lyin', you're fast! What's your time?" The boy asked me, to which I responded, "Dunno!" Shrugging my shoulders. "What?! How come?" The boy asked.

"I don't care enough about it," I looked at him getting out of the water. He laughed, "You do act like a queen, living up to your reputation, I see!" Rin blushed, getting out of the water, and standing in front of me, "Can I ask you something? Do you want to enter a relay with me at the next tournament?"
