"GO START PRACTICE!" Gō shouted as we all ran out of the club room.
"Hey! Before I forget...check it out!" Nagisa turned around, "Our new tracksuits! Sweeet!!"
"Well, the trim of the jacket is certainly nice," Rei lowered his head to check it out, "...but that logo. Ufff!" a rumble of disgust came from his throat.
"Little Iwatobi is the cutest little mascot of all time! I was gonna put him on the jacket but since you hate him, I figured I'd just go for the shirt," Nagisa said.
"Yes, but in the best of worlds you would've left him out entirely," Rei said.
"Well, I think it's perfect the way it is. You made a good choice Nagisa," I smiled.
"Thanks!"
"Alright let's get started! I say before we dive into practice, let's take a minute to review the events we'll be entering at district. I'm up first. I'll do the 100 and 200-meter backstroke. Now, who wants to go next?" Makoto spoke out, acting like a true Captain.
"Breaststroke for me! I'm thinking about competing in the 100 and 200 meters!" Nagisa said.
"Haru?" Makoto asked, turning his head.
"I'm only swimming freestyle," Haru answered.
I don't know why he asked...
Makoto smiled, "I don't know why I bothered to ask," I gasped in my head... Did we just have a twin telepathy thing? Is that a real thing?
"What about you?" Makoto asked Rei, turning his head again.
"I'm only comfortable with butterfly," Rei answered, Nagisa bumped into him, "It's because you are one," Nagisa smiled, making me giggle.
"Anyway, it's been a while since we've competed so we're gonna have to work on our stamina," Makoto stated.
"And that's why I'm here," I smiled.
"Check it out! You won't believe what I just found!" Gō shouted.
"Iwatobi High School Swim Club Summer Training Camp from Hell on a Deserted Island?" Makoto read the flier Gō was holding up.
"From hell?" Rei questioned.
"A deserted island?" Haru also questioned.
"Sounds...fishy," I tilted my head.
Nagisa gasped, "That sounds fun!"
"Isn't this incredible? It's an old poster from a few decades ago back when Iwatobi first had a swim club!" Gō said.
"Interesting. What's the big deal?" Rei asked.
"The big deal is we should steal their idea and hold a training camp of our own...on a deserted island!" Gō said, excitedly, "Keep your eyes on Nationals boys!"
"Sounds like a lot of work to me..." Haru said.
"Yeah, I agree with Haru...but it also sounds fun!" I spoke out.
"Don't complain until you hear me out! Look at the training regimen they used!" Gō handed us a map of the small deserted islands, "They swam long distances from one deserted island to the next building their stamina in a natural environment. If we wanna blow our opponents out of the water at district, this is exactly what we need!"
"You think?" Makoto almost whispered.
"Yeah, definitely!" Gō assured him.
"How did it turn out for those guys?" Nagisa asked.
