"Huh?" Haru said as he shifted weight onto either leg, "Which one?" He tried choosing swim tights that he had laid on his bed...they all looked exactly the same.
"How is it so hard for you to choose?" I yelled, walking into his room, slamming open the door.
"They're all different!"
"THEY LOOK THE SAME!"
"No—"
"Hurry up and change! or leave without them! We're gonna be late!" I shouted, walking out of his room and closing the door.
"YOU SHOULDN'T WALK INTO A PERSON'S HOUSE WITHOUT KNOCKING!" Haru yelled as I walked down to the kitchen.
"I DID KNOCK!" I shouted back, flipping over the fish that I placed on the grill when I first walked in, "In my head," I said under my breath, "SERIOUSLY! HURRY UP! Mako is waiting outside!" I shouted again as he popped up behind me.
"No need to shout," Haru said with a blank face.
"If you were behind me why didn't you say anything?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Admiration," he said.
"Huh?" I asked, not hearing what he said.
"Nothing. We're gonna be late," He grabbed the bento box and closed it.
"That's quite literally my line," I squinted my eyes.
We walked out and called out to Makoto who was playing with the white kitten, "Morning! We've got a big day ahead!" Makoto said, standing up.
"Sure do! You guys get to train with and against me," I smiled, "I'm not gonna go easy on you guys."
"We know," Makoto smiled.
"I'm gonna make you the fastest swimmers in all of Japan," I smirked, "That's a promise."

"Okay! We've got four club members on paper and the weather is getting warmer! I'm sure you're as excited as I am about what that means!" Gō spoke out, holding the paper for the club.
"We finally get to use the pool!" I sang out in a sigh.
"Mhmm! Make sure to stretch before you swi—"
Haru jumped into the pool, "Hey! I wasn't finished yet! Would it kill you to listen to what I have to say first!" Gō complained.
"Don't bother, Gō. As soon as he's in the water he won't listen," I said before I jumped into the water as well.
Rei stood on top of the diving board after stretching. I looked up and cheered him on, "You can do it, Rei!" He stood up there so gracefully. He dived and fell face flat into the water.
That must've hurt. At least he has good form though...maybe it was better if he tried being in the water to swim instead of just diving. What the hell did we expect? He wasn't going to learn how to swim without a pool over the weekend.
Makoto and Nagisa got in the water with Rei to teach him as Haru and I raced back and forth non-stop until someone got tired and needed a break.
My goal is to make them fast. Real fast, faster than me.
"Hey, guys..." Gō stopped Haru and me.
"Yeah?" I answered.
"Is there a reason you guys like to swim so much?" She asked.
"Dunno. I never really thought about it," Haru answered.
"What about you, y/n?" Gō asked.
"I'm not really sure, either. I just know swimming is fun when you're with people you love," I smiled.
