"Way to go, Haru! You just set another personal best!" Gō said as Haru stopped swimming and lifted his head from above the pool water, "That training camp from hell really paid off!"
Haru stood there looking at the concrete wall, no words, nothing, "You're getting faster. You might even catch up to me," I sucked my teeth into a smile.
"Thanks," Wow! He actually replied to me. Haha!
"Give it to me straight. How am I doing?" Nagisa swam under the lined floaties and picked up his head as he stood next to Haru.
"Mhmm, judging by the numbers alone, you can push yourself a little harder," Gō responded looking at the stopwatch.
"There's always room to improve! But don't forget how far we've come in a short amount of time. Just look at how hard Rei is working to tighten up his butterfly," Makoto said, encouraging the others.
"Looks like I should get in the water to help," I inhaled sharply, "Whoever beats me, I'll buy them dinner," I smiled as I jumped in the water.
Holding myself against the concrete, "We must find a proper coach!" Gō said in her semi-loud voice.
"I think we all agree but I seriously doubt there will be someone available," Makoto said.
"I seriously doubt any of you have looked hard enough!" Gō shouted at Makoto.
"None of this is necessary," Haru said.
"How about another deal, if we win in 5 days, I'll buy a feast for everyone," I chuckled.
"Where are you getting all this money to throw around?" Makoto asked.
"That's...a secret," I giggled, "So, yes? or are you guys a bunch of losers?" I pouted.
"You're so on!" Nagisa said.
"Seems like a great deal. I'm in, too," Rei.
"Sure," Haru.
"Heheh, okay," Makoto smiled.
At lunch, we ate on the roof, under the shade next to the door, "Hey guys! Guess who got pictures from training camp all printed out?" Gō said as she held an envelope full of photos.
"Let me see!" Nagisa said first.
"Ta-da!" Gō placed the photos on the ground, scattered around.
"Haha! These are too good!" I said.
"How many did you take?" Nagisa asked.
"They're awesome!" Makoto added.
"Check this one out! Haru looks super goofy," Nagisa said, pointing at a photo.
"At least you're looking at the camera for once," Makoto said with a soft smile.
Haru side-eyed him, "That's true," I said, also smiling, looking at the picture.
I grabbed a photo, "Woah, is that Samezuka's swim team?" Nagisa asked as everyone looked at the photo as I held the picture of Rin, "Where did you get these?" Nagisa finished his question.
Gō chuckled, "Let's just say on day two, someone did her share of sightseeing," Gō said.
"God, you're so freaking lucky! You should've told me," I cried. All those muscular men~ I'm jealous.
"Anyway, along with a few snapshots, I've got a lot of intel about their team lineup! Here's a list of swimmers in the 100-meter and 200-meter breaststroke with Nagisa. These are the swimmers doing backstroke with Mako. And this is who's doing the butterfly with Rei," Gō picked up a paper from the ground, "There will be more where that came from when the tournament rolls around, including individual skill levels and lap times," Gō lowered the paper, "Oh...and my brother will be swimming in the..."
