S2 - Finale.

"Y/n! Haru! Rin!" Makoto's voice echoed from afar at the airport.

I spotted him, waving us down, and ran to him right away, this is the hug I really needed, "It's only been a few days, sis," Makoto chuckled.

"I've never been away from you this long," I said into his white shirt.

"Hey, Makoto! Long way to come just to see us off the plane," Rin said.

"Mostly for her, I knew she'd be like this," they all looked at me, still clinging onto my big-little brother, "bet you guys are pretty wiped out from the trip," Makoto added.

"I had to make sure Haru slept and ate well on the way here. He needs to be charged for today's practice," I said.

"Did you get enough rest and food?!" Makoto asked.

"I was worried more for Haru, who cares about me!" I asked, rhetorically.

"Uh—I do!" Haru, Rin, and Makoto said at the exact same time.

"Not the point. I'm fine. We need to go. I have only one practice left to train you guys. I need to see improvements!" I clapped my hands, mentally saying, "Chop Chop! Move it!"

We stood in front of the aquatic center, "Tomorrow's the big day, the guys are inside," Makoto said as we looked at how huge the building was.

I looked at Haru and smiled, "Ready?"

"Mm," he nodded his head.

"Well, I'm gonna go meet up with my team," Rin said, "Y/n, see you later?" He tapped my lower back with his hand before sliding it across, kissing my head, then running away.

"Take off your cap, you're gonna start balding!" I shouted.

"Hey, guys!" Makoto said.

"Y/n! Haru!" Rei and Nagisa shouted.

"Hi boys," I smiled.

"Hey, Rei, Nagisa," Haru said.

"Welcome back!" Rei said.

"Hope your trip was cool! Glad you two made it home," Nagisa said.

"More importantly that you made it home safe," Rei said.

"You're too sweet," I smiled.

"You're such a mother, Rei. He was super stressed the whole time," Nagisa spilled.

"Shut uuup!"

"I'm gonna head inside," I said, "I'll give you four time to talk," I smiled, walking away.

"Thanks, y/n," Haru said.

I looked over my shoulder, "What did I do? If you're going to thank someone... Thank Rin," I smiled.

That's right, thank Rin. As much as it sucks to say, I didn't - couldn't - do anything for Haru this time. I'm just glad he's made up his mind about his future. Now, I need to mentally and physically prepare myself for my own future.

The night before Nationals, the boys and I took a stroll down the main street by the beach, "Ah, so full! I can't believe Ms. A bought us our meals!" Nagisa said.

"Yeah, she's a good one," I chuckled, "...hey guys..." I said with zero confidence, "I know I said I wanted to talk to you guys after the tournament, but I think right now is perfect."

"Sure, tell us," Nagisa said.

"All ears!" Rei said.

"Makoto already knows, but I'm going to a school for Photography and Film," I said.
