CHAPTER - 02

~' Something is changing Even if you hide it so hard. I can see it all I feel like I'm talking to a different person I feel awkward when I'm with you. '~

Finally, after 10 minutes with everyone in the car they had set off the airport into the streets of Seoul. Jihyun watched them through the window and recalled all the moments of her childhood how she had spent them here with friends and family or adopted family. Don't get her wrong, she was very happy with her adopted family as they treated her as their own daughter and sister. But the grief of knowing she had a real family with a biological brother who shared the same womb as her for 9 months had already sunk in at the moment they were separated.

After a 30-minute drive, they finally reached the mansion. Throughout the drive when everyone was in their own world, Changmin seemed tense and was trying to find an excuse for not bringing Jihyun there. But he himself knew she would never back down from entering the house especially when it was the last thing Jonghyun had left for her.

Stopping the car in front of the gates, Jihyun and her assistant stepped out followed by a dazed Changmin who was thinking about all the outcomes when Jihyun got to know the truth. Looking through the gates the guards had stopped Jihyun and Yeseo from entering.

"Who are you ma'am?" the guard asked confused.

"Kim Jihyun, the owner of the JH residence," she replied in a monotone when she realized the guards of the house had been changed. "Who are you?" she asked back to the guard.

The guard started laughing hysterically like she had cracked some kind of an awful joke and replied "Ma'am I suggest you keep the false information to yourself and please step away from the gates." He replied

This is when Jihyun had lost her calm demeanor and told Yeseo to search the house documents. Yeseo quickly pulled out her iPad and searched for the documents in a hurry knowing an angry Jihyun was someone everyone dreaded. Whilst this mess, Changmin was panicking thinking, and rethinking about what would happen when she meets them again.

When Yeseo showed her the documents, Jihyun threw the iPad to the security guard who wasn't letting them through the gates. The guard was caught off-guard by her bold attitude as he thought she was just like the rest of the fans who tried to enter the premises by lying. Oh, how wrong he was when he read the documents and re-read them just to make sure.

The guard had finally given up on holding her back and let them in muttering a quick apology. But that hadn't calmed Jihyun in any way and shouted at the guard "Get the hell out of my face and never return. You're fired!". She strides past the guard into the house and opened the door with her key card.

Yeseo and Changmin followed right behind her after the scene outside, Changmin had lost all hopes of her accepting the offer he had come up with a few minutes ago.

Once Jihyun entered the house the calm atmosphere inside had managed to cool Jihyun down.

But she was expecting to be greeted by a plain house and not a fully furnished one. That's when she realized someone was living here and she didn't know anything about it.

"Yeseo, go to the company with Changmin Oppa and bring the original documents of the house. Someone has been living here without my permission," she stated. And Yeseo scurried out of the house dragging Changmin along as soon as she heard her.

Jihyun let out a sigh and strolled through the house looking for evidence on who had settled in there. She looked through the rooms and the hallways, she had confirmed 23 bedrooms were occupied except for her and her brother's room that had been locked ever since she had moved to the US.

The last bedroom on the first floor, which was supposed to be the in-house wardrobe was also converted into a bedroom with a white theme which she assumed the residents had converted for guests.

After setting her things in her room she walked up to the main living room and sat on the couch that was placed facing away from the main entrance scrolling through her phone.

Suddenly the door opened and Jihyun assumed it to be Yeseo and ignored it as she read through the mails.

A male walked through the doors and noticed a new figure in the hall. "Who are you?" he asked confused.
