Jaehyun answered the call

Conversation-

Jaehyun

"Hello"

??

"Jihyun? What happened to your voice? Caught cold?"

Jaehyun

"Actually... I'm Jaehyun. Jihyun was sleeping so I took the call instead."

"Oh! Jaehyun? You are Yun-oh... right?"

Jaehyun

"Well yes...Mrs. Kim?"

Mrs. Kim

"Gosh you can call me Mom, Yun-oh... well it's if you don't mind"

Jaehyun

"OH! Not at all, Mrs. Kim... I mean Mom"

Mrs. Kim

"Well as much as I would love talking to you, sweetie... I have a plane to catch

And please tell Jihyun that I'm on my way to Korea."

Jaehyun

"Sure mom... Have a safe flight. Bye"

Mrs. Kim

"Sure sweetie... Bye Jae. Meet you in Korea."

Mrs. Kim said and hung up on the call. Jaehyun was having mixed feelings after the call. He surely received a lot of love from his parents but it always seemed to be fake and materialistic. But after the call with Mrs. Kim, he felt his insides go all warm and fuzzy, just by the genuine care and love he got from exchanging a few words with her.

He felt jealous of Jihyun as she seemed to get genuine care from her second family even if she was neglected by her real one. Yes, he pitied her when she was being mistreated by his parents but also couldn't deny his feelings of jealousy for getting a better second family who treated her with utmost love and care.

Sighing and keeping those thoughts aside, he proceeded to wake her up. Finally successful in his third attempt, Jihyun sat up on the bed, back against the headboard and head leaned on Jaehyun's shoulder.

"Who called?" she asked him, rubbing her eyes trying to be more awake.

"Your mom..." he replied quietly.

Jihyun nodded and asked again, "What did she tell?"

"Nothing much... she just spoke a few words to me and told me to inform you that she will be arriving in Korea."

"Oh... okay," Jihyun said sitting up from her position and looking at Jaehyun.

"Yun-oh... you know that my mom will also consider you as her son too... right?"

Jaehyun met her gaze and stared at her blankly. "She told the same over the call too..." he trailed off and started blinking.

"Jae..." she whispered knowing he was getting emotional with the way he was looking anywhere but her.

"Jung Jaehyun... You are my little brother and I've always shared everything with you. And you know that I will share the love I receive right now with you." She said looking at him but Jaehyun didn't have the guts to look at her right after what he had done in the past.

"Jae... please look at me" Jihyun pleaded. "It's not your fault as to how I was treated by the Jung's, in fact, I'm actually happy because of which I got a family where I can experience real love."

Jaehyun broke down in tears hearing his sister tell him those words that he had longed to hear for years now... 'It's not your fault.'

Jihyun pulled him into her arms with his head resting in the crook of her neck trying to comfort him by rubbing his back and humming random songs into his ear. Jaehyun calmed down a bit in a few minutes, as Jihyun still heard small sniffles but none of them pulled out and Jaehyun had also wrapped his arms around her waist hugging her tightly. Jihyun kissed his forehead hoping he knew that his sister loved him.

They stayed in the same position, till the door soon swung open. The twins looked over and spotted an all-set Taeyong who wore casual clothes, with a jacket in his left arm.

He looked at the twins confused but decided not to question their position.

Jaehyun realized his plan to get the couple back together as they were and pulled away from Jihyun and told her to get ready and also pack a few extra clothes. Jihyun was utterly confused but did not want to question thinking he'd have a plan.

Once Jihyun went to get ready, the room was filled with an awkward silence where none of the two boys spoke but glanced at each other every now and then.

Jaehyun finally took the courage and spoke, "Hyung... I'm sorry about yesterday, both of you fought because of me."

Taeyong looked at Jaehyun bewildered, "Jae it wasn't your fault... Both of us just spoke without thinking... I was wrong to tell her to ignore her sibling, especially since she reunited with you on good terms not long ago. So, I'm sorry"

Jaehyun shook his head and told, "No Hyung, I have no right to get in between the two of you after marriage as you both need the privacy of your own."

"Don't beat yourself on what happened Jae... it's fine. Let's forget last night and move on?" Taeyong spoke with a small smile engulfing Jaehyun in a hug.

Jihyun looked at the two guys who were hugging while leaning on her closet and smiled a little.

"Let's go?" Jihyun spoke startling the males. They both turned to her, who wore clothes similar to those worn by Taeyong with a small backpack on her right shoulder.

"Well, only the two of you will go. It's compensation for last night." Jaehyun said motioning the couple to go out of the room.

"Where are we going, Jae?" Jihyun asked.

"Jihyun, that's for me to know and both of you to find out." He replied with a smug look on his face.

The couple looked at each other and threw suspicious glances at Jaehyun who stood near the door. They shrugged off their thoughts and decided to go along with whatever Jaehyun had planned for them.
