Jihyun POV

I woke up with my phone ringing. Well, I don't know how I got here but I'll ask taeyong about it later. I checked it to find mom calling so I picked it up and sat on the bed with my back resting in the headboard.

Conversation

Me

"Mom, Good morning"

Mrs. Kim

"Good morning sweetheart. Did you sleep well?"

Me

"Yes, mom. I was so tired that I don't even know when and how I slept."

Mrs. Kim

"Oh, is it? I heard you have an important meeting today, right?"

Me

"Yes, mom... it's at 10 a.m."

Mrs. Kim

"You met Yoon-oh and your parents, didn't you?"

Me

"They're not my parents' mom... but yes I did"

Mrs. Kim

"As much as you are my daughter, they're your biological. Parents' sweetheart, be grateful for that"

"I always am grateful towards them as they gave me a beautiful daughter, Like you. Whatever happens, happens for a reason sweetheart."

Me

"Sure mom. Ill also be grateful for them, as they gave me a caring mother even though Mrs. Jung couldn't do that"

Mrs. Kim

"Aigoo my daughter is growing up fast..."

"But Jihyun-ah... please don't let what other people say or do affect you."

Me

"Sure mom, I won't. I'll take care of myself and you too mom"

Mrs. Kim

"I know you will. Now get up and get ready. I bet you're still in bed"

Me

"Mom are you sure you don't have a spy camera on me"

Mrs. Kim

"Jihyun I know you so well that I know you're still in bed and woke up when I called you Lazy kiddo"

Me

"Sure Mrs. Kim, I'll follow your orders."

Mrs. Kim

"Yeah yeah, now go take a bath"

Me

"Sure, Bye mommy"

Mrs. Kim

"Bye, sweetie... Call me when you need me"

Me

"Sure, thing mom..."

I said and hung up.

Yeseo came in to take some documents when I was on the call so I don't need to worry about that. Let's get a shower now.

While dressing up I heard some noises as though they were arguing.

After getting ready I went out of the room to find a mess near the staircase, which I started at in disbelief.

"Why on earth are you both shouting early in the morning?" I asked loudly. They stopped and Yeseo turned to me nervously. Kun was avoiding eye contact and Taeyong was processing everything going on as he was still half asleep.

I was furious while looking at all the documents spread along the floor and asked both of them to clear it up and organize it.

I noticed Taeyong was still in his nightdress with hair sticking in all directions. 'Woah what a mess.' I thought.

"Aren't you gonna get ready?" I asked standing next to him.

"Yeah, I should," he said looking at himself, maybe he never realized he was still not ready.

Taeyong went into his room to get ready and I started walking downstairs as the two were picking up the documents. I went to the kitchen to make something to eat.

Timeskip

After breakfast, it was 9 a.m. Taeyong and I decided to go together, to the company for the meeting and Yeseo had left early without me. As we were about to leave, the door opened revealing Jaehyun.

I ignored him and passed by but he said something that made me stop along.
