"Yeah, I'll get the money as soon as possible"

"We can propose that but I'm don't think Mr. Lee will agree to it or be convinced."

Hwan cut the call with ??? and went to his desk and started his work again.

Meanwhile, the four are still processing what they had heard Hwan talk about.

"I told you there was something sus about Hwan." Yeseo started. "We need to find out who he was talking to and what he is doing"

"Yeah..." Taeyong spoke in a daze. The thought of the person who he had trusted the most wasn't trustworthy anymore had given him a hundred questions in his mind.

Sensing the atmosphere, Kun and Yeseo made their way out of the cabin making Jihyun stay back with Taeyong.

Jihyun POV

"Yong?" I called out and he was still in a daze. I held his hand softly and pulled him to the couch which was near the tea table and made him sit down.

"Yong? Look at me" I said softly holding his cheek while I was still standing in front of him. He looked up and I could see how lost he looked at the moment.

"Was he not trustable? Or am I a fool for trusting him?" Taeyong asked me with curiosity in his tone, but I knew he felt betrayed.

"He is a fool for betraying your trust Lee Taeyong so don't think about him... alright ?" I spoke calmly hoping he would let go of the issue.

He circled his hands around my hip and pulled me into a hug while resting his head on my stomach considering I was still standing. I ran my hands through his newly dyed black locks hoping he'd find comfort in it.

"Jihyun-ah Thank you." He said which came out muffled as he had his head pressed against the fabric.

"I'm always here for you to share your thoughts, Yong. You don't have to thank me for that" I replied.

He soon calmed down and asked, "What do we do now?"

"Now we wait..."

"For what?" he asked timidly.

"For him to make his next move," I answered while sitting on the couch next to Taeyong.

Hwan POV

Soon after Noona had cut the call, Ms. Yeseo, Ms. Kim's Secretary, and Mr. Qian knocked on the door and came in.

"Yes Ms. Yeseo and Mr. Qian, what can I help you with?" I asked.

"Well, we were wondering if you had a sibling," Yeseo asked out of the blue. I was confused but still answered.

"Yes, ma'am I do have a step-sister." I was confused at this point as to why they came here to ask this question.

"You see we were trying to set up Taeil Hyung with someone considering he is the oldest in NCT but Taeyong is getting married first." Mr. Qian replied. I understand he is trying to ask if he can set up my sister with Mr. Moon.

"Oh, I'm sorry sir but my sister already likes someone and I'm sure she wouldn't want me to spoil that for her." I tried dismissing his request by laughing off.

"Ahh is that so, well we need more luck in finding a girl for Taeil Oppa," Yeseo told Mr. Qian.

"Is it possible for your sister to change her mind, I'm sure she will love him. I really want to set her up for Taeil Hyung." Mr. Qian asked again.

"Sorry to disappoint you Mr. Qian but my sister doesn't seem to be moving on from Taeyong Hyung anytime soon. She really loves him." I replied hoping he would leave this topic.

"Wait, Taeyong? Lee Taeyong?" Ms. Yeseo asked again a little louder than before.

That was when I realized that I had accidentally blurted out that my sister loved Taeyong Hyung. Yeseo looked like she wouldn't even hesitate to throw me out of the window.

"You do know that Taeyong has been engaged to Jihyun right then, why are you saying that your sister likes Taeyong?"

"Because she likes him?" I answered but it turned out to be more of a question.

"Look here Hwan I'm in no mood to joke around now. Spill everything you know and what your sister is trying to do, right now" Yeseo asked again.

"Alright, I will explain..." I told them everything I knew about what my sister planned to do and how she would execute it. Yeseo recorded everything and they told me something that shocked me the most.

"Carry out the plan like your step-sister told you to and don't make it look like you told us anything... Understood?"

I nodded and they left the room. I let a sigh but I knew this was going to have an ugly ending but at least after that I won't have to listen to my sister's orders. I thought about it for a while before turning back to complete my paper works.
