CHAPTER - 19

Upon entering the studio, Taeyong looked at Jihyun in awe. "You look pretty," Taeyong said while giving out his hand for her to hold.

Jihyun chuckled and took his hand, muttering a small thank you, they both walked to the middle where the photoshoot will take place. The camera director told them to do different poses, both of them did a good job and took the photos comfortably.

After about 30 mins, they had finished the shoot and proceeded to the ground floor lobby for the interview.

While sitting in the lobby, they met Kun and Yeseo as they just arrived with the documents. "Yeseo, you can give the documents to Mr. Shin when he arrives, we are still waiting for him to take our interview," Jihyun said as Yeseo left a sigh of relief since she thought she was late.

"Hello, I'm Shin Jihoon who will be taking your interview today." A man of about 5'5 spoke from behind Kun. Four of them turned and greeted him and Yeseo handed over the papers to Mr. Shin.

"Thank you for accepting the interview, Mr. Shin," Taeyong spoke after greeting him.

"Pleasure is all mine, Mr. Lee. As you know I've been waiting for updates about your personal life as I never heard of any except for you being the heir of SM. But I believe this news is going to bring huge benefits to both the companies and heartily congratulate both of you for that." Jihoon replied taking a seat opposite the couple.

Yeseo and Kun were standing behind the camera to monitor the interview. Yeseo noticed someone missing and roamed her eyes to find that certain someone, but failed miserably.

"What are you looking for?" Kun whispered from beside her as he didn't want to interrupt the interview.

"Hwan... I can't find him anywhere. He was supposed to help Jaehyun pack and pick him from his parent's house by 6 p.m. but it's just 10:30 now and I can't seem to find him anywhere. " Yeseo said concerned.

"Maybe he went running some errand or took a leave today?" Kun reasoned trying to calm her but it clearly wasn't working.

"No, he would have informed me before taking leave and there are other people to run errands." She continued to worry.

"I'm not feeling good about the situation now. How long has Hwan been working here?" Yeseo asked Kun.

"About 2 months now? The secretary before was a female who went on maternity leave." Kun replied. "What happened Yeseo? You seem tensed." Kun asked while patting her back.

"I don't know... I just had this suspicious instinct while talking to Hwan yesterday." Yeseo began. "I really don't know how to explain this but yesterday he was asking me about the finances of JH Labels and how much SM will benefit from it. He seemed to be comparing JH a lot with YG entertainment." Yeseo spoke trying to reason her suspicions but the more she thought the most anxious she got.

"Ok calm down Yeseo... We need to first wait till they finish the interview. After that let's ask Taeyong if he knew where Hwan went. There is a possibility that he is in the building as we still haven't looked in the building." Kun said which finally calmed her down.

Nodding, she and Kun waited for the interview to end but also looked around once in a while in hopes of finding the missing person.

Once the interview ended, the couple thanked the staff and Mr. Shin for their hard work. They made their way towards Kun and Yeseo, who were waiting for them.

"Taeyong, where is Hwan?" Yeseo asked impatiently. Taeyong looked at her confused but still replied. "He must be in his office. I didn't see him personally since morning but I got notified that he had arrived earlier than us."

"What is wrong Yeseo? You seem out of it today... is something wrong?" Jihyun asked her softly not making her more anxious.

"Yeah... I feel like something is going to go wrong today." Yeseo replied sighing.

"Okay take a deep breath... nothing will go wrong, and even if it does we need to figure it out calmly. Things only get worse by panicking. " Jihyun tried to talk her out but it seemed impossible as Yeseo always had a nagging feeling to check out on what Hwan had been up to.

"Okay let's go check on Hwan if that will clear your doubts?" Kun suggested while Yeseo immediately nodded making her way to the elevator leaving the other three dumbfounded.

They caught up and went to the 6th floor where Hwan's office was placed. Once they reached, he seemed to be talking to someone on the phone. The four of them immediately went to Taeyong's cabin which was right next to Hwan's trying to listen to what he was talking about.
