CHAPTER - 11

Three weeks passed since the JH event, and tomorrow was the wedding of Taeyong and Jihyun.

Taeyong was having a bachelor party at the JH residence while the girls, Jihyun, Areum, Yeseo, and a few friends from the companies were having a bachelorette party at a club. Jaehyun and Taeyong were initially against the idea of letting the girls drink alone at a club but eventually were convinced.

So, the girls were full-on celebrating Jihyun's last day single. Areum had gone to the next level by inviting male strippers. The girls were enjoying the party so much they had almost forgotten they had to get back home.

At 2 a.m., the NCT members came searching for the girls to get them back home. The girls were totally drunk. Taeyong was grateful he had arranged an evening wedding because he was sure Jihyun would not wake up early the next morning.

The boys took them to their respective homes. Jaehyun stayed back at Areum's house as it was already late. Jihyun and Yeseo were taken to the JH residence. After settling everything the members too slept.

Next Morning... more like the afternoon,

It was a lazy morning at the JH mansion, they directly ate lunch which was takeout at Mcdonalds', and settled for watching a movie. Well... that was until Mrs. Lee and Mrs. Kim arrived at the mansion. Mrs. Kim took Jihyun back to the penthouse to get her ready for the day and Yeseo accompanied her.

And Mrs. Lee was nagging at all the boys non-stop to clean the house and get ready. Jaehyun escaped the clutches of Mrs. Lee as he was at Areum's house and got ready there itself along with Areum and her parents to attend the ceremony.

At 6 p.m. everyone reached the venue. Taeyong was standing at the altar along with his best men, Ten, Kun, Johnny, Taeil, and Yuta.

Yeseo was the maid of honor along with Areum, Jieun, Eunha, and Tiffany as bridesmaids. Jaehyun will be walking Jihyun down the aisle along with Mrs. Kim beside her. Grandma Jung, Mr. and Mrs. Jung were also present and were seated on the furthermost seat.

Jihyun POV

My makeup artists did an amazing job, I looked so pretty. Yeseo and Areum were throwing compliments every now and then.

I feel so nervous, I won't be a single woman anymore. I know over the few months I have learned to share my life with Taeyong but having a wedding just makes it feel more real than it was till now.

Mom was having tears in her eyes. I know she'd burst out in tears any minute but is controlling them for me.

Mrs. Kim - "Your brother would have teased you so much today telling you that you finally look like a girl today." She said and laughed a little.

Me - "Mom, he would have told that 'Ji after this makeup wears off your face, you'll get back to looking like a piglet. So, I need to go warn Taeyong'." I mimicked how Oppa would talk.

Mom burst out in tears, missing my brother. I know she misses Dad too.

I made mom sit on the couch and hugged her with my own eyes clouded in tears.

Mrs. Kim - "Thank you Jihyun, thank you for being such a good daughter. I am sure Jonghyun would agree that you are the best sister too."

?? - "I can vouch for that too..."

I turned and saw Jaehyun standing near the door looking at us. He came near and hugged me from behind holding my mom's hand.

Jaehyun - "I know you lost Hyung but I am also your son Mrs. Kim... sorry Mom." He smiled at the end. Mom too smiled and kissed both our foreheads.
