Today is the day, the lyric writing competition will be taking place and the JH Residence was a mess. The members of the NCT were getting ready for the event or simply creating chaos. Jaehyun had already gotten out of the house to pick Areum up from her house. Taeyong was also almost out of the house until he saw the mess.

He was currently instructing Kun to take care of WayV and telling Mark to get out of the kitchen who was trying to make breakfast for ChenJi. Renjun and Haechan were fighting over a red tie and Jeno and Jaemin were trying to pull them apart. Johnny was giving everyone free fashion advice. Jungwoo, Sungchan, and Taeil were having their own fashion show, changing clothes every 5 minutes, Ten was also participating in the competition before Kun had pulled him out.

Shotaro and Yuta were already ready but talking about some actor in Japanese sitting on the couch in the living room.

Taeyong - "OKAY STOP, EVERYONE FREEZE."

All the members stood still in their places, scared because of the sudden yell from the leader.

Taeyong - "I'll give you 5 minutes; you guys better get ready and get your asses out of the door. If anyone is still in the house after 5 minutes, you will stay in and not come to the event. Understood?"

Everyone nodded and rushed to get ready. Taeyong made breakfast for the two Maknae, after kicking Mark out.

Soon enough all the members were out of the house and seated in their respective cars. They left for the event being held at JH labels.

Jihyun was checking all the last-minute arrangements as the guests will start arriving within half an hour. She got a little help from the NCT members when they arrived at the venue.

Once everything was overlooked, Jihyun went to the podium and asked the staff to open the gates and allow the guests inside. The next hour passed with the inauguration of the event and refreshments.

The lyric writing contest soon began with the guests and contestants participating by writing their lyrics on a piece of paper. They were given 45 minutes for the contest within which they need to finish and get their pages registered. A few members of NCT, especially all the members from Lucas to Jisung participated, while the others were helping the supervising team.

Areum and Jihyun were also having fun and checking on the event's supervision. An hour later, all the participants had finished their work and started moving out.

Areum - "OMG this is such an entertaining event, I never knew people can write such songs... Did you read the 2nd verse of the guy with the red shirt?"

Jihyun - "The one with 'I'll buy you a planet full of candies?' Yeah... he seems like a guy who has a crush on someone"

Jaehyun - "Okay girls, since the event is almost wrapped up, let's go for a celebration of our own?"

Jihyun - "Yeah sure, where are the other boys?"

Jaehyun - "They have already left for the nearby restaurant. Taeyong Hyung is in the backyard, attending a phone call."

Jihyun - "Ok you guys go ahead, I'll get Tae."

Jaehyun and Areum nodded and left for the restaurant, while Jihyun went to the backyard. She found him just ending the call and hugged him from behind.
