Taeyong POV

"Get your hands off him Ms. Kim" the girl sitting across Jihyun spoke. I think her name was Yoo Jennie?

"Why would I get my hand off my man Ms. Yoo?" Jihyun asked with a calm demeanor, but it seemed like Ms. Yoo was getting angrier with this. At this moment I was so confused as to why Jennie was trying to start a cat fight with my fiancé when we were discussing an important issue.

"Because when you break the contract with SM and JH, he will not be yours anymore," Jennie replied impatiently.

"We're getting married whether the contract between the companies stays or not," I said not having any of this drama getting created at the moment. To which Jennie replied.

"Why when YG signs the contract with SM after nullifying it with her company as the heirs, you and I need to get married, Lee."

"Well, I think you're trippin' Ms. Yoo Jennie... Firstly, SM will not nullify the contract with JH Records and Labels for us to collaborate with YG. Secondly, I am getting married to Jihyun regardless of the contract is valid or not. And lastly, what right do you have to comment in my life? So, I hope you can keep your boundaries in check Ms. Yoo" I replied sternly to which everyone seemed to be taken aback.

"What right I have? Are you in your right mind Lee? I did so much so that I can stop your marriage with this bitch and we can be together considering how much we both love each other and this isn't the reply I was expecting from you Taeyong." She replied furiously getting up from her seat.

'What the fuck is this woman even talking about? Me loving her?' I thought to myself. I turned to look at Jihyun who was looking back at me blankly.

"What nonsense is she spewing?" I asked Jihyun to which she only shrugged keeping her blank look.

"What makes you think I love you, Ms. Yoo?" I asked calmly trying my best to control the urge to throw her out of the building.

"Taeyong please don't tell me you forgot the promise our parents made when we were kids," she said in a low tone indicating she was sad.

"No, I don't. Moreover, even if they had made a promise to get both of us married, I never agreed and I can't even go back and check facts as both my parents aren't alive." I said looking at her intently.

"So, you don't believe me?" she asked in disbelief.

"You want me to believe you? The person who stole my company shares just because you were in love with me and wanted us to get married in spite of knowing very well that I have a fiancé?" I asked her back.

She couldn't find any words to answer so she just kept quiet looking down. It was as though she had a reality check to wake her up from the most beautiful dream she had ever had.

"And the funds of the company are still intact," Jihyun spoke up suddenly. I was surprised by what she had just told and also confused.

"Your stepbrother wasn't as supportive of your evil intentions as you thought he was Ms. Yoo." She continued.

"So, now since the money issue is settled... Why don't you both go back to your own company?" my uncle told them.

"I get what I want... and if I were you, I'd be careful Ms. Kim or should I say, Ms. Jung?" Jennie said as she was about to get out of the door. But Jihyun said something that made her stop her tracks.

"I am a Jung... Jung Yunmi" Jihyun confidently said making her way towards where Jennie was standing. "If you want information about my family, I'll gladly give it to you because I'm sure you won't be able to find it yourself." She continued.

"Real name Jung Yunmi before I was adopted by the Kims, sister... more like the twin sister of Jung Jaehyun of NCT." Jihyun spoke again, shocking everyone in the room. I didn't expect her to reveal it here, like this, considering how Jaehyun and his parents have hidden as well as wiped out all the information of Yunmi.

"Now make way and get your ass out of this building when I tell things nicely" Jihyun had whispered loud enough for them to hear.

She was being bold and the way she had revealed herself only shows how fearless she is. I really respect her for being herself and I am also lucky to be with such a special girl and honestly, it feels like I'm looking at my mother, she was a kind and caring woman who kept herself calm at all times. But when it came to her family, she was the strongest I've ever seen. And now Jihyun definitely has a special spot for herself in my life as well as my heart which I doubt anyone else would ever get.
