( just that girl )

PERCY SEEMED TO BE GOING THROUGH SIMILAR TROUBLES. After being harshly shut down from the quest he was sent into a funk. Thoroughly being haunted in dreams ( the same way Nicoletta was ), and haunted by his thoughts.

On more than one occasion he could see her sulking around the camp. A frightening frown stitched on her lips and her eyebrows creased. Percy had also thought that her frustrated facial expression looked out of place with her skin still drenched in her mother's blessing ( that didn't seem to be going anywhere ), no matter how hard she tried.

She was still beautiful to him. With a face that could make your blood chill by her glare that seemed unmoved. A beautiful nightmare, Percy thought was more fitting.

With her hair tumbling in curls, hiding her face, she stood on the stairs that entered the dining hall. She stood next to Nico, both seeming to be spying on the Hunters.

Percy fought the voice haunting his mind and pulled Annabeth's magic cap on, standing closer to the girl so he could hear what was happening. Momentarily dazed by her scent of Patchouli and Rosewood. The mixture of the scents, radiating the smell of romance. She shifted, sending another wave of her scent, so prominent that Percy could basically taste it.

He cursed Aphrodite for her rigorous aptitude. Then rolls of thunder clouded the sky. He apologized.

Percy swallowed and pursed his lips, leaning in further to hear two voices arguing: Zoe and Bianca."It cannot be cured," Zoe was saying. "Not quickly, at any rate."

"But how did it happen?" Bianca asked.

"A foolish prank," Zoe growled. "Those Stoll boys from the Hermes cabin. Centaur blood is like acid. Everyone knows that. They sprayed the inside of that Artemis Hunting Tour T-shirt with it."

      "That's terrible!"

"She will live," Zoe said. "But she'll be bedridden for weeks with horrible hives. There is no way she can go."

"And what of Annette," Bianca said, her voice tight. She played absentmindedly with her fingers. Percy glanced down to see Nicoletta smirking wildly. Her eyes shifted quickly from black to amber under the crescent in the sky.

Zoe frowned. "She refuses to go. She was convinced no doubt."

Bianca glanced sideways, irritation in her face. "How?"

"She sounded ridden by charmspeak," Percy felt his lips form a large O, he glanced back down at Nicoletta to see her hands twitching. "I cannot be sure, though."
