Yeah we're....Friends now

In that moment Dustin comes barging in pushing the two girls apart making El let go of Max and I could of sworn Max looked disappointed that she was no longer holding El's hand. 

"What's taking you guys so..... long..... Billy?" Dustin stops right in his tracks " Steve! Are you hurt!" He exclaims

"What no Dustin I'm fine" I say tripping over my words a bit

"So why is he here then" Dustin replies glaring at Billy. Billy being the asshole he is just glares back

"Wait a minute." Dustin begins making Steve panic a bit " you two have been around one another a lot lately" Dustin says looking from one boy to another

"Yeah we're....Friends now" Steve says nervously. Unfortunately Dustin doesn't seem to believe him

"No you don't just become friends with Billy fucking Hargrove" he states a bit matter of factly

"What the fuck is that supposed to mean toothless!" Billy practically yells. Steve hoped to god that the boys downstairs didn't hear. But Steve is never that lucky. Soon enough the room was full of confused thirteen year olds staring at the two older boys

"This silence is getting on my nerves so I'll answers your unasked question Dustin, yes they are dating" Robin says from the doorway. And with that billy snaps and punches her, knocking he out. Billy walks out the room to god knows where.

"Soooooo Steve... will you take us to the mall?"  Max's asks shaking a little.

Soon enough He give in and put a shirt on shooing the kids down stairs grabbing a shirt for Billy too who's currently stood in the kitchen.

"Your the best Mama Steve" the kids say in unison as they head down stairs. Steve give the shirt to Billy giving him a quick kiss when He's sure no ones looking convincing him to take Max, El and Will. The kids act like everything's normal not asking questions about Steve and Billy's relationship. Soon enough they are piling into the car heading to the mall. Max, El and Will in Billy's car and Mike, Dustin and Lucas in Steve's

In Billy's car

Will sits awkwardly in the front fiddling with his fingers, the only reason he's in the front is because Max wanted to sit next to Eleven. The two girls in the back whisper back and forth giggles filling the car. That's when Billy decides to say something

"So are you two together or what" Billy asks the two girls as they freeze in place, the giggles stopping

"W-what n-no, I mean I'm not against it if you want to" Max blurts out stumbling over words. She immediately puts her hands over her mouth as her cheeks heat up. El gently grabs her wrist rubbing circles pulling her hand away from her mouth. They look at each other for a second before El makes a move and kisses her. It's only lasts a second but Max Pulls her back for another one.

Will just sits awkwardly in the front staring at his lap still not sure what to do.

"So Will. What about you and Mike?" El asks kindly. Wills cheeks immediately go a bright shade of red

"Wha-what" he stutters still looking down

"Well I broke up with Mike because he seemed more interested in you than me" she says still in a gentle tone as not to scare the delicate boy

"No he totally likes you El" Will mumbles back sadness in his voice

"Oh come on Will are you stupid Mike is so totally head over heels for you, if you ask him if he wanted to go somewhere with El or somewhere with you he would definitely say you. I asked him" Max says getting frustrated

"R-really" Will says looking up for the first time since he got in the car.

For the rest of the car journey Max and El flirted back and forth while Will sat quietly staring out the window smiling. Bill was so confused how the hell did he manage to get a car full of queers, he wasn't complaining though.

Steve's car

The conversation was mostly about why Will couldn't come with them there was another seat. No matter how many time Steve told them it was because it made it easier so they weren't squashed in the back they just kept complaining.

Mike was the one who complained the most, jeez you would think that kid had a crush on him. Mike said he didn't mind being squashed next to Will.

Other than the complaining nothing much happened it was a boring journey

Finally they made it to the mall and the kids hopped out the car. Steve noticed Max and El holding hands in the car but let go just before they got out. All three of the kids Billy took had red faces.

The day went by pretty quickly, Steve and Billy decided to stay with the kids to keep an eye on them. Finally the kids were so tired that it was time to go home. Dustin had managed to talk Steve into letting them all stay for a sleepover (which pissed Billy off). Although Steve did warn them not to come into his room or they may be scarred for life, to which Billy chuckled and the kids nodded knowing exactly what he meant

Finally they got home and it suddenly hit Steve. Robin. They had forgot Robin. He ran upstairs to see her walking out of the bathroom. She glared at him and stormed over.

"You left me on the FLOOR" she yelled

"Sorry I forgot" Steve said sheepishly. Behind Steve stood Billy who laughed

"And you punched me" she said annoyed. Billy just laughed again which annoyed Robin a lot so she stormed downstairs and out the door probably going home

A/N hopefully this makes up for the last chapter. This one is a lot longer then the ones I usually write. I wanted to show El and Max's relationship and Mike and Wills too. Anyway hope you enjoyed
