Graduation

A/N I have no idea how graduations work so sorry if I get it wrong!

Steve rushed around the house frantically searching "Oh where the fuck is it!" He yelled

"What you looking for?" Billy who was stood ready at the bottom of the stairs asked

"I can't find cap" Steve said still searching

"Oh you mean this" He pulls out the black cap holding it out to Steve

"Sometime I want to just watch you be eaten by a demogorgan" Steve mutters

"But then you'd miss me" Billy comments

"There are replacements" Steve  mutters again.

The two of them climb into Billy's car and speed off down the road.

"I can't believe we're gonna be late for graduation" Steve sighs shrinking back into his seat

"We'll be fine" Billy says

And Billy was right, they were just in time for the ceremony to start. They took their seats and waited patiently for their names to be called.

A/N if you know me well you know I'm a skip this part and get to the good stuff. Also I kinda messed up so it's now Billy has decided where he wanted to take Steve, Sorry for the screw up!

The ceremony had ended and people were leaving, probably to a party to celebrate, but Billy walked away and over to Steve.

"Hey baby" He said

"Hm oh yeah what's up" Steve turned around to look at Billy

"Do you wanna get out of here?" He asked

"Yeah sure... but uh ....can we not go to the party" Steve asked

"Oh thank god you didn't want to go. I have a better idea of where we can go" Billy lead Steve back over to his car and stopped "put this on" he held up a black piece of cloth that Eleven had thankfully let him borrow.

Steve looked at him confused "are you trying to kidnap me?" He joked

"No  I just want it to be a surprise " Billy said still holding the blindfold out to him. Steve shrugged and did as he was told, he tied the blindfold around his head and got into the car, with some help from Billy.

"Heeeyyyyy Naaaaannncccyyyy" Max says from behind Nancy

"Hey girls! What's up?" She asks

"We'll do you mind driving us somewhere?" Max asks sweetly

"Of course I can" She smiles

"Where are you two going? Did Billy ditch you" Robin asks from behind

"No he .... Went somewhere" Max says

"Sounds like he ditched you" Dustin comments

"Look we just want to follow them" Max complains

"Follow who?" Mike asks walking up to them with Will following behind

"Oh my god! So are we!" Robin squeals excitedly "Come on. If we don't hurry we'll miss it!"

"Wait did Billy tell you what he was planning?" Eleven asks

"No I thought Steve had told you if you knew" Robin replies. They stare at each other for a second both really confused

"So what's Steve planning?" Max asks as she walks over to Nancy's car

"What's Billy planning?" Dustin asks

"You'll see. Let's just go already!" Robin says excitedly

They all got into their different cars. Nancy, El, Max, Mike and Will in one car and Robin and Dustin in another. Robin got out of her car and went over to Max " Do you know where their going?" She asks

"No" Max says

"Follow me then!" Robin sprints back to her car and they all drive away.

"Are we there yet?" Steve asks

"Almost"  Billy replies . They sit in silence for a little longer until they finally arrive. "We're here" Billy tells him as he get out of the car to help Steve.

Not long after the others had parked somewhere in the forest and were watching from the trees "how did you know they were gonna be here?" Eleven asks

"I helped him pick" Robin says triumphantly

"Shhhhhhhhhh" Max shushes them

"Can I take the blindfold off now?" Steve asks leaning against the car

"Yeah" Billy says. Steve pulls off the blindfold, he blinks trying to get used to the light.

"Why are we here?" Steve asks

"Why not, it's quiet" Billy tells him

"We'll I was actually planning to bring you here" Steve says

"Really?! Well I guess great minds think alike" Billy smiles

"I actually wanted to ask you something" Billy looks down shyly

"Me too" Steve says " but you first"

"Ok. Well I um" Billy stutters.

A/N get ready for the cute stuff , Btw they are now in front of the car

He walked around to the drives side of the car and pulls out the little box shoving it in his pocket. He walks back to Steve and stand in front of him "Steve, ever since I met you I knew I wanted to be with you forever" Billy starts, he kneels down on one knee pulling the box out in front of him and Steve gasps "Steve will you do me the great honour and marry me?" He opens the box revealing the ring

"I mean this is a bit awkward" Steve says.

Billy looks up at him confused "Why?"

"Because that's what I was gonna say" Steve pulls out a box and opens it "Billy will you marry me?"

"Your such an idiot" Billy says "I asked you first"

Steve laughed "are you serious?! Of course I'll marry you, Moron"

"Well then I guess I'll marry you too" Billy says sliding the ring onto Steve's finger and stands up so Steve can do the same

"You know I was having second thoughts this morning after you stole my cap" Steve tells him. Billy and Steve laugh together. "I'm glad I said yes, this ring is beautiful!"

"I'm glad you said yes!" Max and Robin say as they rush up to them

"I thought I told you not to watch!" The two boys yell at them

"I tried to get them to leave once I figured out what you were doing but it didn't work" Nancy apologises

"It's fine, but now we have to plan a wedding" Steve smiles

A/N okay I know I was supposed to post last night but I was really tired, I hope this makes up for my short chapters and the delay!
