"So you're wearing a dress right" Billy says to Steve
"You wish" Steve replies sarcastically
"Yeah I do" Billy agrees
"Shut up both of you! Who's wearing white and who's wearing black?" Max asks
"Yeah who's the wife?" Robin giggles
Billy just rolled his eyes and fights the urge to insult her; he needs to be nice to her since she's Steve's friend and Steve was his fiancé.
"Just shut up, we can both wear black" Steve sighs
"Where's it gonna be?" Dustin asks
"Where's what gonna be?" Hopper was stood in the doorway of Steve and Billy's house
"Right you guys haven't told them yet" Mike says
"Told us what?" Joyce raises an eyebrow
"Well you see...." Steve stutters
"We're getting married" Billy says directly
"Oh well... that's nice, congratulations" Joyce says nervously
"Well, There's a nice area in the woods that you guys could use. Assuming that this area you're looking for is for the wedding" Hopper chirps in
"Yes it is, and the woods sounds great!" Robin squeals excitedly
"You're not invited" Steve tells her
"That's not a choice, I'm your best friend" Robin smiles
"Well we'll leave you kids to it" Joyce says as she and Hopper walk out the room.
The group spent time planning out the decorations and writing invites until Will brings up an important point. "Who's walking Steve down the isle? I mean I'm assuming Steve will be the one walking down the isle"
"Hey! Who says I'm walking down the isle!" Steve shouts
"Everyone, you're obviously the less dominant so it would make sense" Max clarifies
Steve sighs in defeat "fine, your right. Who is going to walk me down the isle?"
"Hopper" Eleven breathes
"Yeah he would be great; he's like a dad to everyone" Max agrees "speaking of dads, are you going to invite Neil?"
"No" Billy says sternly. Steve rubs his back comfortingly.
"Alright so it's a small wedding only inviting me, these four idiots" Robin says gesturing to the group of twelve year olds "Joyce and Hopper. Did I miss anyone?"
"Yeah, Nancy and Johnathan" Steve replies
"Oh god why are they invited?" Billy complains
"Because they're our friends" Steve protests
"Ok fine whatever" Billy waves a hand and lies down not wanting to argue
"So it's settled; the venue is in the woods, we just went over the guests and Hopper will walk Steve down the isle. Is that everything?" Dustin questions
"No, what about the after party?" Max asks
"It's going to be here and since it's a small group and we're all familiar with each other then we don't need anything fancy" Dustin informs her
"Ooooooooooo I can't wait! I want it to be soon!" Robin squeals
"Stop squealing!" Billy yells
"That is something we need to figure out" Eleven mumbles
"What?" Steve asks
"The wedding, when is it going to be?" Eleven finishes
"Next weekend!" Robin shouts
"Woah woah woah we need time to set up" Steve says flailing his arms about
"How about in a fortnight?" Will suggests
"That could work" Billy agrees
"Then it's settled, the wedding is in two weeks"
A/N so I planned on ending here but the chapters a bit short sooooooo, enjoy a little bit of shenanigans that happen while preparing the venue and getting clothes
"Robin easy with the flowers!" Steve shouts
"Whhhhhyyyyyy it needs to be preeeeeettttttyyyyy" she complains
Shopping
"Max there are no brides maids" Billy protests
"Well then I'll be the.............. flower girl" she says
"No those are also for the brides" Billy shakes his head
"Uhhhhhhhhh so, I wanna be a big part. Me and El can walk in behind you or even in front!" She giggles and grabs Elevens hand dragging the poor girl over to look at some dresses
"Ok fine you can walk in beside me, got it" Billy says.
Max nods quickly "can we wear this" she says picking a black dress off the rack
"It's a wedding not a funeral" Billy sighs
"I swear all you ever do is sigh" Max complains
"What do you want to wear El?" Billy says ignoring his sister
Eleven looks at the rack before picking up a light blue dress "this. It'll look pretty on Max, it'll match her eyes" Max blushes
"It's beautiful, let's get it" Billy agrees
A/N Ik Ik I'm bad at posting on time but I'm really tired lately and I like to write at night when it's quiet and I can focus. As it gets closer to Christmas I might miss a few updates,so sorry about if I don't post at all in December, I'll try to post at the beginning of December and at the end. Anyway hope y'all enjoyed!
