It was Christmas Eve, and we were all gathered around the fireplace. Me, James, Sirius, Remus and Peter.

Sirius was found gathered in Remus' lap. Remus playing with his hair. Peter sitting awkwardly opposite me.
And James next to me, our arms almost touching.

"Never have I ever," Sirius murmured. "Slept with a pure-blood."

Me, James, Remus and my brother took a shot of fire-whiskey. Sirius started choking.

"You've slept with someone?" Sirius asked.

"Yeah?" I said.

"And me, as in your protector, didn't know?" Sirius scoffed, dramatically.

"Do you need to know everything about me?" I asked.

"Who was it? In fact, who were all your guys' first times?" Sirius sat up.

"Don't you think that's a bit personal?" Remus asked.

Me and James exchanged looks.

"Mine was in fourth year, Marlene." Sirius said, taking another shot.

"Mary," Peter said. "Seeming as she is my girlfriend."

"Sirius," Remus said, and took a shot. "Seeming as he's my boyfriend."

"Mine was in fact, also Mary," Said James, taking a shot. "Sorry, worms."

"It's fine." Peter said, shaking his head.

All eyes turned to me. Remus put his head down. James brushed his hand against mine.

"So?" Sirius pushed. "I won't judge. No judging."

"Padfoot, I really don't think it's a good idea," said James. "I mean, come on."

"What?" Sirius smirked. "It's not like it's you."

I looked down at my lap, James looked as if he were guilty of a crime. And Remus looked ashamed.

"Oh. Oh my fucking god," Sirius stood up.
"You've been fucking my brother!"

"Sirius, I don't think we should-" Remus said.

James stood up, "Pads, let us explain."

"Explain? Explain what? You fucking my brother and not even telling me?" Sirius scoffed, and gripped James' shirt.

"It's not like that, Pads. Just listen to me-"

"Sirius, it's not his fault okay?" I said, trying to pull him off James.

"He sleeps with you, and didn't even tell me!" Sirius said, his eyes were angry.

"He didn't just sleep with me, okay. We're together. Us. Me and him." I said.

Sirius let go. He turned, he looked at me. He looked betrayed.

"So you two? Behind my back?" Sirius said.

"We couldn't exactly tell you. If mother found out-"

"Do I look like mother to you?" Sirius said, livid.

"What? No!" I said, my stomach churned.

"You really think, whether I like it or not, I would tell her?" Sirius said.

"I never said that," I said. "I know you wouldn't."

"Then why was it implied?" Sirius said, he looked more sad than angry. His face flushed, and his eyebrows raised.

"It wasn't," I said. "Just if mother found out, James could possibly be dead. And that's the last thing i'd want."

Sirius took a breath, "How long?"

"Since my birthday." I said, I looked at the floor.

"Four months?" Sirius scoffed.

"Yes," I said. "But we were going to tell you, we just didn't know how."

"Maybe, Hey Sirius, just so you know. I'm sleeping with your younger brother. Don't be mad though." He said. "I'm not pissed. I just want to know that you're safe."

"He is safe. You know that, Padfoot," James stood next to me. "I would never not want to make him feel safe."

"You two really like each other?" Sirius asked, looking at the both of us.

James took my hand in his. I tried not to blush.

"Yes," James said. "And i'm sorry we didn't tell you sooner."

Sirius looked at our joint hands. And then back up at us. He sighed.

"So long as you're happy," He said. "But Prongs, if you ever even think about hurting him. You will be dead."

"Got it." James smiled. He kissed my cheek.

That's when Sirius found out.
