I walked around the whole school, ignoring classes, to find James that day. But I couldn't see him anywhere. That's when I spotted Lily. She was carrying her books, and walking towards me. She passed me with a smile.

"Do you know where James is?" I asked.

"Yeah, i'm going to meet him now," She smiled sweetly. "Is everything okay?"

"Where is he?" I asked again.

"Quidditch field." Lily said.

"Thank you," I said, starting to speed down the hall. "And I could possibly be so sorry."

I ran down the halls, down the moving stairs. Past Peeves and Nearly Headless Nick. Past a bunch of oblivious students. And finally, to the field.

The whole of Gryffindor team looked at me. Sirius was there, he smiled. James didn't look at me.

"Can I have a word with your seeker?" I asked.

James looked at me, then at my brother. He walked towards me.

"Could you meet me in the room of requirements at our normal time?" I asked, hoping to get the answer I wanted.

"I'm meant to be deciding to go on a date with Evans tonight," He said. "So, I don't know."

"James, this is the only thing I ask of you. I wouldn't if it wasn't important." I said.

"Are you going to waste my time?" He asked.

"I hope not," I sighed. "Please. You can decide to hate me afterwards."

"Okay," He said. "Yeah, i'll meet you."

I smiled, "Thank you."
