When it came to having friends at Hogwarts, it wasn't the best. After Sirius mentioned Malfoy at home, I decided to try befriend him to make my mother proud.

Him, Snape, Crouch, and my cousins were the Slytherins I was close too. Especially Andromeda.

Andy was the oldest of the three, mature and wise. She was in fifth year when I joined Hogwarts. She had short wavy brown hair, and bright green eyes like most of us Blacks had. She was with a Hufflepuff boy. Only, my aunt, Druella, was yet to know that.

She, as well as Pandora, was someone else I idolised. I always wanted her confidence and wisdom.

Bellatrix was in fourth year, she was the mischievous one of the three, kind of like my brother, but in a meaner way. She would bully the first years, and pick on them. Get Peeves on her side.

Her hair was a raven black, and her curls were always held so tightly in a half up half down style. Truth be told, I was quite scared of Bellatrix.

Narcissa was my age, started the same year as me, had the same fate as me. She was bound to be forced into a pure-blood marriage, and be just like my mother. She was already getting there.

Her hair was a bright blonde, with long wavy curls. She was honestly devine. She always dressed well, had good posture and good manners.

Lucius Malfoy, he was a prick. He thought he was better than everyone just because he was bound to marry a Black, and he was a pure-blood.

His bleach blonde hair was so bright it was sickening. I never liked it. He was tall and steady, and always held his head high. His best friend was Snape.

Severus Snape, he was shy. Everyone knew he was friends with Lily Evans, and so clearly in love with her. It was scary. They used to hang around all the time, Malfoy hated him for it. Didn't like her because her blood wasn't pure.

His looks weren't the best, his hair always greasy. I never knew why. He had a stuck up attitude when you would talk to him, like he was better than everyone else. He always wore black.

Barty Crouch Jr. He was one of my closest friends, on top of Pandora or Xen. He was quite handsome for his age, as well. He was shorter than me, which he hated. But his freckled face, and broad jawline made up for it.

....

"When I told mum you were friends with Malfoy, that wasn't a request to actually befriend him," Said my brother, walking me down the halls.

"I didn't mean too. I just don't want mother to be cross at me." I stuttered.

"Regina, she can't control who you're friends are," he sighed, wrapping his arm around my shoulders. "Is this about that Ravenclaw girl?"

"Pandora? What? No," I said. Even though it was, I felt guilty being her friend. "She's a Lestrange, mother can't have that much hatred for her."

"But she's a Ravenclaw." Said Sirius.

"So? You're a Gryffindor and she hasn't disowned you."

"Yet," Sirius rolled his eyes. "I need to go find James, but promise me you won't let her get the best of you." He was now looking at me in the eye.

"I won't, Sirius. She can't control me." I said.

"Good. I'll see you later, I love you." He said and kissed me on the forehead.
