Chapter 34: The Final Battle

I lunged toward the Devil King and swung my sword, but he blocked the attack by creating an energy blade and kicked me back. Matt ran around Satan, firing a barrage of arrows that he dodged with ease. Satan noticed an opening and landed a punch to Matt's face, sending him sliding across the ground.

Leo ran toward the demon with Connor by his side, and they engaged in combat. Leo threw a punch that the Devil King blocked, and he knocked Leo back, grabbing Connor's spear when he thrusted it forward. Satan pulled Connor toward him, landing a head butt before placing an energy sphere to Connor's stomach and blasting him away. Leo teleported above the demon and landed a heavy blow to his face, causing him to stumble.

Leo began landing a barrage of blows and knocked Satan away with his Cerberus Bash skill. As Satan got up from the attack, Leo threw an energy sphere toward the king, trapping him inside it. The energy sphere flew upward, reducing Satan to ash once it exploded. As the smoke cleared, Leo noticed a regenerated Satan looking down at him.

"So he has the same regenerative capability as Lilith. On top of that, he's 100x stronger than her."

Leo smiled and gave the demon a taunt. Satan rushed toward him and threw a punch that collided with Leo's own. The two began trading blows, and Leo landed an uppercut to Satan's jaw, but the demon was unfazed by the punch and grabbed Leo, hitting him in the abdomen with a knee strike multiple times. Satan tossed Leo aside and turned around to face me when I called him his name.

"Let's see you handle this attack!"

The Devil King gave me a confused look as I cupped my hand and brought them to my side.

"Ka...me...ha...me...!"

As I was charging the attack, Leo yelled out my name, telling me to watch out.

"Huh?"

I noticed the Devil King was gone, and when I looked up, he landed a punch to my face, sending me sliding across the ground.

"Did you really think I would just stand there and not attack you when you're wide open like that?"

Satan created energy blades and lunged forward, preparing to stab me, but Connor kicked him away as Matt fired an arrow that froze him in ice, and we all entered a battle stance as Satan broke free from the cage of ice. He fired a massive energy wave toward us, but I created a barrier around us, blocking the attack. Connor and Leo rushed toward Satan and began fighting him.

Connor thrusted his spear forward, and as the Devil King dodged the attack, Leo landed a heavy blow to his abdomen. Connor placed his spear on his back and began charging his Phoenix Blast skill as Leo pummeled Satan with physical attacks.

Leo teleported away just as Connor fired his Phoenix Blast, dragging Satan into the air. Connor teleported above him and started pounding him to the ground with energy-enhanced punches.

As the Devil King lay on the floor, Connor aimed an energy blast toward him, only to be stabbed in the heart by Satan's tail. Satan pulled out his tail and grabbed Connor's heart.

"Normally, I detest doing this, but your abilities are rather powerful."

He ate Connor's heart, and a powerful aura expelled from his body. Connor looked shocked as Satan appeared in front of him, landing a point-blank Phoenix Blast. Connor recovered himself, still in shock as the Devil King smiled.

"Of course, these aren't the only abilities I've stolen!"

He raised his arm, creating a large energy blade, and I knew which attack he was doing. I yelled at my friends to protect themselves as we all surrounded ourselves by barriers. Satan slammed the ground with my Spirit Excalibur skill, creating a large explosion.
