Chapter 18: The rematch between Yuki and Selena

Selena and Yuki got into a battle stance.

"Let the match begin!"

"Howling Strike!"

Selena unleashed a wind attack from her sword, pushing Yuki back. Yuki looked up as Selena appeared above her to attack. Yuki jumped back, and Selena landed on the ground, lunging at Yuki. Selena swung her sword multiple times as Yuki, but she dodged every swing. Yuki clashed her sword against Selena's.

"Looks like you improved, Selena."

"Obviously. Training with Alex helped a lot."

Yuki gave her an irritated look.

"I'll have you know that I will be the one to be with Alex!"

"Huh?"

Yuki moved to the side, causing Selena to stumble forward as Yuki went for the strike. Selena quickly turned around and clashed her sword with Yuki's. They countered each other blows causing a stand-still. Selena kicked Yuki back and created energy in her hands.

"Photon Beam!"

Yuki dodged the beam and fired compressed air projectiles at her, knocking her back. Yuki then summoned the Shadow Blade in her other hand. She raised the blade, surrounding it in black and purple energy.

"Darkness Mixer!"

She created several razor blade-like energy discs that surrounded Selena, causing major damage to her. Yuki walked toward Selena, putting her iron sword in front of her.

"Forfeit the match. You can't beat me."

"Heh. Allow me to show you a power that you could never achieve."

Selena surrounded herself in a white aura, pushing Yuki back.

Yuki had a shocked expression as Selena powered up more before the aura quickly dissipated. Selena's hair turned to a darker red with had a strand of white on her left head.

"This is my full power."

Yuki stood there shocked but smirked, getting into a stance.

"You must be stupid if you think gaining a strand of white hair will help you."

Yuki ran and leaped into the air, swung her sword down at Selena, who bocks it. Yuki tried to slash Selena, but she dodged them. Yuki surrounded her shadow blade with black energy.

"Umbra Slash!"

She slashed her sword in an arc multiple times, firing multiple attacks at Selena. Selena ran toward Yuki, cutting her attacks in half as she got closer.

Yuki noticed her coming and fired more of her attacks. Selena's sword began to glow, and she created a burst of energy from it, knocking Yuki onto the ground. Selena jumped high into the air, put her sword in front of her as she lunged at Yuki.

Yuki looked back and jumped to the side, dodging Selena's attack.

They clashed their swords as they traded blows running around the arena at high speeds. Selena used a magic skill to create clones of herself as she charged at Yuki. She ran to the side as Yuki fought the clones, firing small energy blasts. Yuki deflected them at the clones and charged at Selena. She surrounded both of her swords in a fire, putting them in front of her.

"Crossing Fire!"

She created an X-shaped flame, hurling it toward Selena. Selena used her sword to absorb the attack, spun around, and threw it back at her with more power. Yuki created a blast of water from her hand, destroying the attack and steam to fill the arena. Selena ran into the steam to attack Yuki, but Yuki used a magic spell to get rid of the steam.
