Chapter 19: Lucy vs Raolet

"Begin!"

Raolet immediately fired his Electrical Blast Thrust at Lucy, who spun her spear in front of her, negating Raolet's blast. Lucy fired an energy blast at Raolet, but he dodged it and ran toward her. Raolet thrusted his lance forward, and their weapons collided, throwing dust into the air as they went into a standstill.

"I watched your battle with Alex. I know what you are capable of."

"Believing that I was the same in that battle will get you nowhere."

He moved his lance, causing Lucy to move forward a bit, and lifted his lance, ready to impale Lucy. He lunged his spear forward, but Lucy used a teleportation skill to dodge it. She teleported a few feet behind him, surrounded by yellow orbs. She used her spear to launch the orbs at Raolet.

Raolet surrounded himself in an electric barrier, blocking the attack. Lucy kept firing the orbs but began to fire them in random directions. She stopped firing and charged at Raolet as he dropped his barrier. She threw her spear at him, which he dodged, and she threw a punch.

While Raolet was dodging her punches, her spear hit the ground, firing a Turbulent Burst at him. He looked back as Lucy jumped away. He held out his hand as the attack collided with him, causing an explosion.

Lucy grabbed her spear and looked at the smoke as a lightning strike fell from the sky, hitting the ground, clearing the smoke.

Lucy looked at Rolet as his body emitted electric sparks, and his eyes turned into a royal blue color.

"Electric Terrain!"

Raolet stabbed his lance into the ground, creating a terrain of electricity. Lucy stood there as electricity swirled around her.

"What's his plan?"

Raolet ran around the arena, creating afterimages of himself. The afterimages ran at Lucy and attacked her. She jumped around, dodging the attacks.

"Planning on using the speed of a lightning bolt to hit me? Yet..."

She turned around and punched Roalet in the stomach.

"You'll need to be faster than that!"

She created a blast in her hand that enveloped Raolet, blowing him away. She walked toward him slowly when she stepped on something that caused multiple explosions.

"What was that?!"

"Energy Landmines I planted using my afterimages. I told you not to believe that I was the same when I fought, Alex."

Raolet charged at Lucy, surrounding himself in blue energy, with his lance in front of him.

"Lightning Rush!"

He stabbed his lance into Lucy and rammed her into a wall. He moved his lance as Lucy fell to the ground. He stepped back and examined her body when he noticed the ground beneath him begin to glow.

"What the?!"

Lucy flicked her right index and middle fingers up, causing an explosion where Roalet was standing, inflicting massive damage to him, and destroying his armor.

"That stung."

Raolet took the rest of his armor off, revealing a blue gambeson.

"Heh, this is getting interesting."

Raolet yelled, surrounding himself in a blue aura, charging up his MP.

"Charging your MP? Guess I'll do the same!"
