"Alia, why are trailing behind? Oh, you've become friends with Cassandra!" Kalea exclaimed, "let's celebrate by spending more of my mom's money!"

"Yea! Me and Cass were just talking about her new mate. Weren't we, Cassandra?" Alia asked innocently. She still had the knife scraping against my delicate skin.

"Yea," I mumbled. I tried to bring Kalea's attention to the awkward position me and Alia were in.

"Cassandra, are you ok?" Anastasia asked.

"Yea, I... I... am just uncomfortable," I lied.

"Ok, we'll be out of here in no time," Alyssa reassured. I nodded and smiled a fake smile.

"How do you know about my past?" I whispered when their attention was no longer on us.

"Never mind that, but just know that this is not a joke."

I looked down at Adonis and Annabella and saw them glancing at me. Annabella looked afraid and Adonis looked as if he was thinking deeply.

"Are you ok?" A voice inside my head said. The voice startled me that I almost tripped.  It couldn't be my wolf because it was a little boy's voice.

I looked around trying to figure it out. I saw Alia still threatening me, but I wasn't listening to her. Her voice was drained.

"It's me, Adonis."

I looked down at Adonis and he was staring at me from the corner of his eye in the basket. Annabella seemed oblivious to what was happened since she was occupied trying to open a toy that Kalea randomly threw into the basket.

"You got that?"Alia warned bringing me back to reality.

"Yea," I lied. I looked back at Adonis and felt quite ashamed. I didn't know how to mind link but he did.

"I got this."

I saw him pick a frozen pack of chicken drumsticks.

"You better... OUCH!" Alia cried grabbing her nose. Adonis had thrown the pack of drumsticks at Alia. I honestly felt horrible for her. The pain she was in seemed tremendous.

"Adonis!," Holly and Hannah yelled running towards Alia, "Why would you do that?"

Annabella was giggling with Adonis. I smiled at Adonis as my way of saying thank you.

"You're welcome."

I looked over at Alia and her nose was gushing out blood while she screamed. Other people in the store were starinf as her sisters tried helping stop the blood from oozing out her nose. I just stood there dumbfounded.

"I'll take her to the car," Alyssa panicked. Everyone else except Kalea followed.

"Ok, we'll hurry up," Kalea reassured. Kalea just started throwing everything in the cart as she pulled the cart faster.

"Addy, why would you do that to Alia?" Kalea asked throwing a pack of cookies in the cart.

"Alia is mean. I don't think she likes anybody," Annabella said.

"No she isn't," Kalea gasped. I zoned out I entered my own world of thoughts.

What does Alia mean by bringing my past back? Will she bring Robert back? I shivered internally thinking about what Robert would do if he found me again. The punishments would be worst and I won't be able to leave the house forever. No education, friends, or mate.

I pushed the now full shopping cart towards the check out line. I snapped back to reality to hear Kalea singing horribly to Love Me Harder by Ariana Grande.

I helped her pile the groceries on the converter belt, or at least that's what I think it was called, while still thinking about it.

While I continued, I caught a glimpse of the man standing behind us staring at me. He was looked pretty young, handsome and I could say kind of hot. I tried to ignore his beautiful grey eyes staring at me, but it's his eyes were burning through my skin intriguing me. I spun and tickled Annabella to make it easier to ignore his stare. Now it felt like his eyes were burning to holes in the back of my head.

"Ummm hi," the man said tapping my shoulder. I turned around and fully looked at the man. He was sexy and I haven't said that about anyone in my life. He looked young but wasn't at all my age.

"Hi," I waved. Looking into the man's eye made something click in my mind.

He looked sooo familiar. I couldn't figure out his face.

"It's good to see you again, Cassandra," he smiled.

I was about to respond but Annabella tapped me.

"Im sleepy," she whined.

"We're gonna be home in no time," I reassured.

"Cassandra ummm who were you saying hi to?" Kalea asked while paying for the groceries.

I turned around and saw that there was no one there. I wonder where he went.

"Well there was a man there and he said...hi," I mumbled.

"Ok, so let's hurry up and get these little care bears home," Kalea smiled.

All I could think about war the familiar man and Alia. I didn't know what neither of them meant. How will Alia make my past a reality. The man said it's nice to meet me again, but when did we meet.

"Hey, Cassandra," Dylan said walking into my room giving me a kiss on my cheek, "what are you thinking about?"

"Nothing," I lied.

"Stop lying and tell me," he said grabbing an apple from the refrigerator.

"I'm not lying," I pouted.

"You blink when you're not telling the truth. Is it because of Alia? Do you feel guilty?" He said taking a bite of his apple and cornering me.

"You know about what happened," I panicked wondering why he isn't being all possessive. The fact that he was so over protective over me made me feel a so safe in his arms.

"Yea her nose is fractured, I feel pretty bad for her."

I sighed in relief that he didn't know about Alia. I didn't want any trouble.

Dylan tried to kiss me but I kept moving away.

"Come here," he demanded smiling. His smile made me melt on the inside. I smiled and continued to move away. I continued to back away and he continued to get angrier and angrier. It was amusing seeing him get so angry. He was so spoiled.

I hated seeing him get mad but I was afraid that Alia meant what she said if I didn't leave Dylan alone.

He finally caught me and pulled me in roughly, kissed me passionately. I pushed constantly on him, but his arms were tightly around me in his arms and giving me no choice but to kiss him back. He pulled me surprisingly close and I gave in. I snaked my hands around his neck.

I need to tell him...

"Ouuuu, Cassandra and Dylan sitting in tree, k-i-s-s-n-n-g," Annabella and Adonis sung from the kitchen doorway. I jumped and backed away.

"You forgot the 'i' in kissing," Dylan smiled stomping towards them like a monster. He growled playfully and they ran off immediately.
I giggled softly and leaned back against the wall. I watched them run around the living room and smiled widely. Annabella screamed but with happiness instead of fear. She deserves this, but I couldn't risk it all.

Alyssa and Anastasia to the side. I honestly hated this chapter but the others will be better.
