"Hi, Bell," I whispered smiling. I reached up to touch my sister's filthy face. She purred against my hands as a huge smile crossed her face. She was so beautiful and precious.
"Cassy? You're awake?" A voice said from the doorway. It was Kalea standing in the doorway with Treyven standing behind her.
"Hii," I whispered not bothering to move the tube from over my mouth and nose. Kalea suddenly ran to my side and pulled me against her tightly. Her eyes were tired and the bags under her eyes showed she hadn't slept all night.
"I'm so happy you're awake," she whispered.
"Yea, sweet cheeks, life's been hard without our ball of sunshine," Treyven chuckled entering the room fully letting the door shut softly behind him.
"What time is it," I asked. Kalea looked around the room before finding a clock on the wall.
"Wow," she chuckled to herself.
"What," Annabella asked.
"We haven't slept for about two or three days straight," she chuckled again.
"That's why you guys look like you've aged so much," I laughed lowly. Normally, Treyven would've retaliated but he didn't. He just embraced me.
"You have some people to meet," he whispered in my ear. He pulled away and walked out of the door.
"Who is he going to get?" I asked hoping he was going to get Dylan or Alia.
"It's a surprise," Annabella whispered smiling. Kalea giggled and nodded.
He soon returned with a girl about my age and my mom with a tall, familiar man holding her hand. I instantly knew who it was. He was the mysterious man from my dreams. He gave me the safe feeling whenever he was around.
I got the same feeling the moment he walked in.
"Hi, Cassandra," my mom said smiling widely. She was filthiest of them all but I still hugged her tightly.
"Hi, mommy," I whispered closing my eyes enjoying the feeling of warmth and security.
"This is Alessandra and Brayden. Your twin and your...father," she said introducing me them. I stared at my dad and then my twin.
"I have a twin?" I asked leaning up a little. Alessandra smiled hopefully.
"Yea, we were split up when we were younger. Dad had to leave for something important when we were just born. He had to take me with him because mom couldn't care for us both. I grew up in Ravensbruck with my dad. My dad had left for about 10 months so I had to live with our uncle, Bradley for about a year. When he came back he said he had to some 'pack stuff' to take care of," she said sitting on the end of the hospital bed. "He actually got mom pregnant again. Then Annabella came along," she said pinching Annabella's cheeks.
"How come you didn't come back when you were finish helping the Ravens Pack?" I asked. Kalea just sat in the chair observing the situation.
"Alessandra was so comfortable in Ravensbruck and I didn't want her to have to go through the process of having to start all over in a new place."
"And I understood, so me and your dad decided that it would be best if Alessandra stayed in Ravensbruck and we stay here," my mom defended. I had no idea what to think. I just stared at everyone in the room. I couldn't process my thoughts. They were racing.
"Where's Robert?" I asked completely changing the subject.
"Well since you're gonna talk about that, me and Annabella will leave," Kalea said grabbing Annabella's hand and leading her out of the room.
"Bye, Cassy."
"Later, Bell," I mumbled forcing a warm smile. The door shut and everything went silent.
"Robert... died," my mom said lowly.
"Wait what?!" I yelled scrunching my eyebrows. "He did a lot of bad things but he didn't deserve to die!"
"Cassandra, we didn't kill him... He killed himself," my dad said leaning on the side of my bed. I stared in confusion.
"Why?"
"How about you ask him yourself?" Alessandra asked me softly.
"What do you mean?" I asked suddenly curious. She grabbed my hands and softly held mine in hers. She looked sweetly and softly into my eyes and I stared back into hers. Without knowing it, my eyes closed completely.
I opened my eyes again and saw that I was out of my body again. I saw myself and Alessandra sitting in the same position with my mom and dad on either side of the bed.
I looked around and started panicking, wanting to go back into the real world again.
"Calm down, you're just in your thoughts. I just need to say something," a voice said lowly behind me. I whipped around to see Robert standing in the door way.
"What?" I asked rather harshly.
"I just wanted to wish you luck as you move forward," he said emotionless. Just like he had always talked like he had no remorse for all the things he's done.
"Thanks," I mumbled unknowingly grimacing at him. There was a short, silence before I broke it.
"Why did you do all of those things to me?" I asked stepping a little closer. I felt no fear.
"I won't tell you that," he said simply.
"Why not? I deserve to know," I said getting slightly irritated.
"You're right, you deserve to know, but you don't need to know. It's better if you don't know certain things though. Move on, Cassandra."
"It's not that easy."
"I know that. But you are now a Luna. There's too many people counting on you for you to worry about why I did what I did. The only thing I can say is sorry," he said before turning and leaving the room without another word.
I stood there speechless, processing everything he had said. I forgive you, Robert. Thank you for teaching me so many things in just a few words.
