"We're here," I whispered to Kalea and Treyven as I snapped my bra in place.

"It's a shame that such a beautiful house had to hold such a ugly, mean man," Treyven pouted pulling on his pants. I couldn't help but stare at his caramel, toned abs. He was more muscular than I would ever imagine. I had to literally tear my eyes away.

"I know right, poor house," Kalea said as she buttoned up her shirt. We were waiting for Dylan to tell us to proceed with the plan so we stood at the edge of the woods waiting.

I stared at my previous home. I missed living in this house. The memories all flooded my head, both good and bad. I remember me, my mom, and dad took a picture in the back yard when Annabella was first bought home. We had a huge get together with the whole family. I missed those times.

I didn't even know what my dad looked like anymore, he was unrecognizable. He left and never came back after leaving to a pack meeting the day after Annabella was brought home. I never knew what happened to him but my brain and heart believed that he was dead.

"Cassy," a voice whispered behind me. I turned to see Holly holding Annabella's hand. "It's time to start the plan," Holly said handing me Annabella's hand.

"Be careful, Cas," Kalea said hugging me. "Yea, if anyone touches my Luna I'll go on a total rampage, sweet cheeks," Treyven reassured before kissing my cheeks. I nodded and squeezed Annabella's hand. "Ready?" I asked Annabella.

"Yup," she whispered.

Princess, be careful I'm always behind you. Don't be afraid. I love you

It was Dylan, his voice calmed my heart. But it was Annabella who sparked my braveness and courageousness. I continued to walk with Annabella emerging from the woods, getting closer to the home I once loved.

Once we were close enough, I heard Holly's steps running after me. I turned to see Holly playing as if she was out of breath. "Cassandra, what are you doing? Do you really think you should be out here alone? Should I call help?" She whispered loudly at me playing along perfectly.

"No, I can't let Dylan and everyone else risk their lives for me and Annabella," I said then turning around and continuing my way to the front steps of the house.

"I'm glad that you can still listen to directions, Cassandra," his voice said coming from the porch of the house. He came down and stood in front of me and leaned in.

"Just remember that if any of your wolf friends come, then mine come too," he said lowly. I nodded and reassured him that I was alone.

He smirked before patting Annabella's head like a puppy and catching a glimpse of Holly who was staring. "So you brought Hannah's twin with you," he smirked.

"I just followed my Luna," she defended. Robert searched the wide yard we were standing in looking for something out of order.

"Fine, let me go get your twin and your mother," he smirked. I knew that I couldn't trust him, so I had to be prepared for the worst.

Just a few seconds after Robert entered the house, one figure exited. All dressed in black with her hair flowing, Alia came running down the steps.

"Alia? Why are-"

"Holly, shut up and leave," Alia demanded before stepping up to my face.

"No, I'm older and I want to help."

"Fine, stay," she shrugged not taking her eyes off of me. Holly stood where she was, not moving at all. I looked down at Annabella and she was still in shock. Her eyes stayed wide and she was glued to my side, motionless.

"Cassandra, I suggest you leave, now, before something bad happens," Alia whispered, "tell everyone to retreat now."

"Why? I bet you would want to see me something bad happen to me."

"Just go," she growled, "something's coming right now."

After she said that, Annabella detached herself from me and ran off towards the woods where Kalea and Treyven were.

Holly looked at me confusingly because her running off wasn't a part of the plan. As Holly was about to follow, Alia stopped her.

"No leave her alone, she knows what she's doing."

"Cassandra, look," Holly said pointing to the opposite side of the house. I could see rogues coming our way frantically. I started to panic.

Calm down, calm down

It was Kalea chanting calm down in my head. Alia and Holly made their way towards where the rogues that were still running towards us at full speed.

I started to back away once the rogues were close enough. After taking a few steps back, I felt something pierce the skin of my back causing the most tremendous pain. I screamed loudly, my scream echoing through the field. i squeezed my eyes shut as my tears ran down my face frantically and the pain spread quickly causing a numbness to occur shortly after the pain.

The sharp object was removed mercilessly, blurring my vision and Ito collapse to my knees. I couldn't breathe correctly or see fully.

"Cassandra," Holly yelled running towards me. The rogues were almost to where we were kneeling. Alia stood there watching as the rogues got closer.

"Kalea, how could you do this to her," Holly cried.

Kalea stabbed me

I opened my mouth to say something but my eyelids got heavy until I couldn't take it anymore. I let my eyelids shut completely.
