"... Again, Holly and Cassandra will be the bait," Dylan sighed in annoyance at the question that has been asked more times than necessary. Me, Kalea, and Dylan were standing in the training field in front of the pack members that will be coming with us. I felt like I was at school presenting a project. Everyone staring at me with curious eyes, and even some stared with laughing eyes. I was brought back to reality when Kalea mind linked me.

This isn't a school project. They all look up to you as there soon-to-be Luna. Don't be afraid. Look at Annabella looking at you with those hero eyes.

I scanned through the crowd and finally saw Annabella standing in between Adonis and Dane holding both of their hands. When she spotted my gaze on her, she let go of Dane's hand and waved at me lovingly. I smiled back and quickly refocused my attention to the crowd.

"If the note only asked for you, Annabella, and Cassandra, then why is Holly coming along," a short girl in the middle of the crowd asked.

"We all are coming along, however, getting Holly close enough to Hannah will spark something only twins have," Dylan explained. Dylan continued to respond to random questions with a random or sarcastic answer.

"Dylan! Dylan! Please help it's about Alia!" Two familiar voices yelled from in the dark woods. Everyone's attention was focused on the woods knowing who it was.

"Alyssa! Anastasia! Where were you? My mother sent out a search team for you and you were no where to be found," Dylan boomed. They came into clear view, the moonlight making it clearer, as if they were running from something.

Alyssa and Anastasia looked like they'd been attacked and had been dragged through mud, dirt, and leaves all day. My heart couldn't help but drop at seeing them the way I was before I found this pack.

"Alpha, we're sorry. We went looking for Alia," Alyssa said.

"We found her after we were kidnapped, but she wasn't the Alia we knew. She was working with Robert," Anastasia finished. Dylan visibly tensed with anger when they announced their kidnappings.

"But something wasn't right about her. She still looked at us with the love we've always had. She looked at us with sympathy. I don't think she's working with Robert by choice. She did help us escape," Alyssa said quickly. I stepped up a bit and squeezed Dylan's shoulder to calm him. He didn't calm instantly but eventually he did. When he did, he sighed heavily and regained his composure.

Dylan and Cassy, it's 7:30. We need to get going now

Dylan obeyed immediately dismissing everyone that weren't coming along into the pack house while everyone else stayed.

"So we aren't easily detected or heard by surrounding humans, we will travel in smaller groups and meet up at the house. Is everyone clear with that?"

"Yes, Alpha," everyone said simultaneously.

"Good, now you're dismissed. Get into groups," he ordered. On his command, I turned to leave but a strong grip on my arm stopped me in the process. I spun around and looked into Dylan's glossy, grey eyes. His grip on my arm was still strong but his eyes had me hypnotized that my body didn't feel the respond to the pain. Was he on the brink of tears? Again? Because of me?
