CHAPTER 5

The rain has stopped as Lisa and Jennie headed back to the cafe. Lisa turned her gaze to Jennie who veered away from the said place. She wondered where the brunette girl was going that's why Lisa walk towards her and held Jennie's wrist to stop her from walking. She quickly released her grip when Jennie face her.

"Yah! Where are you going? That's not the way to your Cafe", said Lisa who furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. Jennie looked at her with a puzzled expression.

"I'm going home. As you can see, I'm all drenched and unfortunately, I don't have any extra clothes in my office. I can't work like this. I really need to go or else I will catch a cold." Jennie answered.

Lisa looked around to search for Jennie's car to escort the brunette girl to where the car is. But she couldn't see it. So she decided to ask Jennie where she parked the car.

"Where's your car?", she asked.

"Ow, I forgot to tell you I visited the nearby carwash this morning before I get to work. If I only knew it was going to rain, I didn't bother brought it there", Jennie chuckled.

Jennie was shocked when Lisa quickly grabbed her hand and pulled her. She almost lost her balance because of Lisa's sudden action.

"Yah! Where are we going?", Jennie asked while following Lisa.

"In my car. Since I'm going home, you can go along with me. I will take you home", Lisa opened the car door for Jennie and the brunnette girl get inside the car.

While Lisa was driving, she noticed that Jennie was shivering from cold so she immediately turned off the aircon. She open the glove box to get the handkerchief and give it to Jennie.

"It's Jisoo Unnie's handkerchief. Use this to wipe your face. Don't worry, It's clean! I've already washed it earlier." Lisa handed the handkerchief to Jennie.

Jennie's eyes widened as she was surprised to see the handkerchief. She thought she had thrown it in the trash. She gasped in disbelief when she remembers the real owner of that thing. It is owned by a girl last night who seated next to Lisa. Jennie already knows that Jisoo is not the real owner of it. So instead of using it, Jennie quickly throw the handkerchief outside the window that made Lisa startled. She stopped the car and looked at Jennie who's currently looking outside the car window.

"Jennie! Why did you do that?", Lisa asked confusedly. But Jennie didn't pay attention to her. Lisa noticed Jennie's sudden changed of mood that's why she averted her eyes to Jennie and just focused on the steering wheel in front of her. A couple of seconds, Jennie started to talk.

"I'm sorry but I don't need that thing. Just start the car and drive.", she said coldly without looking at her. Lisa starts the engine and drive the car. The two were quiet throughout the trip.

Few minutes later, they already in front of Jennie's house. "Stay right there. Don't go outside." The brunette girl quickly get out the car without saying anything or at least thank Lisa for taking her home. Lisa left confused. She quickly opened the car window and shouted at Jennie, "You're welcome!", she said. But Jennie didn't looked back at her. Lisa shaken her head to Jennie's weird actions and headed to her apartment.

(At Jisoo's club, 6:00 PM in the evening...)

I'm with Jisoo Unnie and I explained to her everything what happened about me and Jennie awhile ago.

"Stupid! That's not mine! The owner of that handkerchief is the whore you leaned on at the club last night. You're too wasted as fvck to know what happened. No wonder why she treated you like that because you know nothing about it." Jisoo laughed as she remembered what happened. "Jenduekie saw everything that happened, including Chaeyoung's slapped on the girl who's trying to flirt with me. I'm thankful to Jenduek coz she stopped Chae before causing more trouble at the club.", Jisoo stated.
