CHAPTER 38

4:00 P.M.

Kim's family with Jennie are watching a movie on netflix together. And while they were watching, Jennie felt a little uneasy while fidgeting her hands in her lap as if she wanted to say something to Jisoo. The latter beside her notice it so she didn't wait for Jennie to speak and talk to her right away.

"Hey, stop fidgeting....You okay? Do you want to say something?", asked Jisoo.

"Me? Uhm...I'm okay. W~why?", Jennie stammered in response.

"Come on! I know you. Spill it out!". Jisoo was patiently waiting for Jennie to speak.

"Uhmm..Where is Lisa? I haven't seen her since this morning."

"Ow.....She's with Dahyun. She texted me earlier and said they were on the beach right now. Dahyun asked for it before she go back to Thailand. By the way, her departure is tomorrow night. So we are going to have fun later at my club. Do you want to join us?"

"My bad. I'm sorry. I can't be there tonight. I'm not refusing you, Unnie. I just already promised to V that we would have dinner tonight."

"It would have been more fun if you were there. And Dahyun will be glad to see you tonight. Well, If that's the case, I will just tell them the reason why you can't come." Jisoo smiled and go back to watching.

Few minutes later, the door bell suddenly rang.

"I think, it's V. Wait. I will check if it's really him." Jennie stood up and went outside. Her prediction was correct. She saw Taehyung in front of the gate while holding a boquet of red roses in its hand.

"Yah! Why did you come here so early?", Jennie asked smilingly and Taehyung just grinned at the brunnette woman while caressing his nape. "Am I too excited?", he said.

"Yes. Obviously, excited." Jennie laughed at him.

"Ow, My bad." Taehyung chuckled and give the bouquet of red roses to Jennie.

"Thanks for this. Come in!", Jennie said and the man bob his head.

"Hi, V. Sit here." Jisoo said upon seeing the man.

"What do you want? Coffee? Tea? Juice or a glass of water?" as Chaeyoung offers him a drink. But Jennie interrupted her. "No, Just sit here, Rosie. I should be the one to get him some drink since he's my visitor." Jennie insisted.

While Jennie was in the kitchen, Jisoo get the chance to talked to Taehyung. "I thought you two would meet tonight for a dinner? Why did you come here so early?", Jisoo asked him.

"My meetings ended early today. The last meeting just held near to your house so I decided to come here and visit Jennie right away." The man let out a smile as he responded to Jisoo. "Besides, I came here early to tell you guys and to know that I will be dating Jennie starting tonight. And I'm going to get her permission. For the meantime, Please, keep this a secret to her", he added and the two woman were surprised when they heard about it.

"No! You don't-."

"Here's your lemonade to freshened up. I bet you're really thirsty." Jennie arrived and accidentally interrupted Jisoo from talking. The woman couldn't speak anymore so all she did was leave them at the living area.

"Where are you going, babe?", asked Chaeyoung to her wife.

"I'm just going to sleep to our room." Jisoo answered with a cold voice. Chaeyoung noticed the sudden changed of her wife's mood so she decided to come with her wife.

"Wait! Babe, we're coming with you." Chaeyoung said and took her son Woo Jin. "Baby, let's go...", she asked her son and then give Jennie and Taehyung their time to have a moment together.
