CHAPTER 23

"Aunt Lisa where's Aunt Jennie?", the young boy asked her. But Lisa ignored him and continued walking away from them.

"Mama, Is Aunt Lisa mad at me?", asked Woo Jin who become upset on what happened.

Jisoo touched his son's head and softly caressing it. "Don't blame yourself, son. You have done nothing wrong, Okay?", she said and smile to the young boy.

While Lisa is in her room, Jisoo and Chaeyoung started cooking for their lunch. After a minute, they are finished and all the food is already served on the table.

Chaeyoung went to Lisa's room and asked her to eat lunch with them. She knocked on the door before she entered. "Can I come in?", she asked but she heard nothing from Lisa. Because she was really worried about Lisa, she went inside even without her friend's permission.

When she opened the door, she saw Lisa crying and look devastated while embracing Jennie's portrait.

"Li~Lisayah...."Her voice trembled.

"That's enough!", she said softly. But Lisa doesn't listen to her as if she doesn't care on what Chaeyoung says.

"Stop acting like that! You can't be always like that, Lisa.", she yelled. She can't stand seeing Lisa on this state again. Her tears started building up and any time it will flow down.

Lisa put down the portrait of her wife and stood up. She looks at Chaeyoung with those  cold eyes.

"Acting like what? Lifeless? Because that's really it!". Lisa massage her temple.

"That's why I'm begging youcto fix yourself!", Chaeyoung blurted out.

"So what?", Lisa asked.

"What do you expect me to do?!", Lisa is already shouting on her.

"What can I do?!!! Tell me!"

"Do anything and moved on already!" Chaeyoung couldn't control herself anymore. She began to cry and a still greater sense of pity she felt for her friend.

"Moved on from what?!", Lisa said and hit the table. Chaeyoung ran to her and hugged her back. "Come on! It's been two years, Lisa....It's been two years since Unnie passed away!", she said while sobbing.

"She's not dead, Chaeyoung! Her body was not found so she is not dead yet. I feel like she's still alive! And I believe in it.", said Lisa in a low voice.

Chaeyoung make Lisa turned to her and cupped its cheeks. "Lisayah......Please, stop this already," she said and wiped away Lisa's tears. Lisa removed Chaeyoung's hand on her face.

"Leave," she blurted out.

"W~What?"

"I said Leave!" Lisa glared her eyes on Chaeyoung.

While Jisoo who was just quietly listening to them, couldn't stand it anymore so she immediately approached the two.

"Babe...", Chaeyoung calls her.

"Enough, Chae! Let's go!", Jisoo commanded. Then, she looks at Lisa. "The food has been served. Just eat when you feel hungry", she said and immediately grabbed Chaeyoung's arm and pulled her out of the room.

"Let me go!"

"No! We are leaving now!", said Jisoo.

"But Lisa......She needs us. We will not leave her in that condition." Chaeyoung says.

"We have done everything we can do to help her get up. Now, it's up to her if she stays that way".

"Woo Jin, Let's go!"
