CHAPTER 31

"S~Suicide?! Wait....Are you sure of what you are saying right now, Mrs. Manoban? Is it true that Jennie actually committed suicide?", Doctor Shin Mina asked incredulously.

"Yes. She drowned herself", Lisa said in a very serious tone with a cold look in her face.

"But why? Do you know any reason why she did that?", another question from the doctor.

"She had a traumatic experience before. And it all started when we visited her mother here in Seoul."

Flashback........

It was a beautiful morning; faint chirping of birds, the sun beams peeking through the clouds, a gentle cool breeze and the sound of the waves in the sea. It tells that everyday of our life is a new beginning. For Jennie and Lisa that new beginning was the best thing happen to them.

Lisa just finished cooking their breakfast and she decided to wake up her wife, Jennie. She went to their room and as she opened the door, there was her wife; sitting while leaning back on the headboard of the bed. Jennie smiled so bright and there was a trace of happiness in her eyes as she looked at a small picture in her hands.

"Ow..You're already awake. I thought you were still sleeping. Are you looking again at the ultrasound image of our baby?" Lisa asked her wife. Jennie just looked at her and bob her head while still wearing that gummy smile of hers. Lisa immediately approached Jennie and sit beside her wife.

"Good morning to my love of my life!", as Lisa greeted and kissed Jennie on the lips.

"Good morning, Love", Jennie replied and gave Lisa another kiss on the lips.

Afterwards, Lisa put her ear on her wife's womb and listened carefully to their baby's hearbeat. "Hi there, little one. Good morning to you, too", as she also greeted the baby and kissed her wife's womb where the baby was.

As Lisa enjoy listening to the baby's heartbeat, she felt something strange to her wife's womb and when she looked at it, Jennie's stomach was moving so fast as if like a huge wave in the sea. She straightened her body and looked at her wife; forcing herself to smile in such situation. She was really nervous and began to tremble.

"L~Lo~Love?!", as she calls.

Jennie quickly look at her wife and she was worried to see Lisa looks pale.

"Love! What happened to you? You look sick? Does anything hurt?!", Jennie asked worriedly while touching Lisa's forehead to check its temperature.

"Your stomach! Why is it moving like those we watched in aliens vs predators?!", Lisa said hysterically as her index finger points to her wife's stomach.

Jennie immediately looked down to see it. And she witnessed too how their baby was being naughty inside her womb. Jennie laughed suddenly at her wife's reaction.

"Love...Don't be so nervous. I'm fine. It's just a normal thing that happen to a pregnant woman.", Jennie explained and smiled softly to her wife. But Lisa still can't believe she witnessed their baby can possibly moved like that inside her wife's womb. "I~Is it r~really normal, Love? If not....let's go now to the hospital!", she said.

Jennie chuckled and nodded to her. Lisa took a deep breath and after that she lost consciousness which surprised Jennie all of a sudden.

"Love?! Love! What happened to you?! Love!!!", Jennie call out.

After a few minutes, Lisa regained her consciousness without Jennie next to her. She quickly got up to the bed and went out their room. Then, she called her wife repeatedly.
