CHAPTER 54

After an hour, Tzuyu arrived home with her grandmother. When she opened the door, there was no sound or noise could be heard in the entire house. The surroundings are quiet and Jennie is not in the living room.

"Unnie...We are here!", Tzuyu called as she was excited to see Jennie again.

She went to the kitchen just in case she would see Jennie. "Unnie? Ow, she's not here", she murmured and quickly put all the fresh fruits and vegetables and some seafood on the dining table.

She thought the brunette woman might still be in the room and busy checking on some stuff there. Tzuyu went back to the living room to talk to her grandmother.

"Grandma, wait here. I'll just call Unnie.", she said politely to the old woman.

"No, I'm going to cook a delicious meal for her. I'm sure Jennie hasn't eaten since she came here". The old woman softly smiled as she stood up on the couch and then walked toward the kitchen.

"Be careful, Grandma. Just call me when you need help, okay?", Tzuyu said and went to the room where the brunette woman was.

"Unnieee...."

"Unnie?!"

She called Jennie several times. But no one answered or responded to her. She suddenly felt nervous. She knocked on the door before entering the room.

"Unnie...", she called weakly.

Tzuyu was even more nervous when Jennie still didn't respond to her so she immediately opened the door.

Her eyes widen.

Her heart beat faster.

She was shocked to see the brunette woman lying on the floor. She then quickly approached Jennie to help the brunette woman.

"U~Unnie!" Tzuyu said in a shaky voice. She laid down Jennie properly. She noticed that the brunette woman is sweating and her lips were pale. She quickly checked Jennie's pulse and breathing. Tzuyu took a deep breath in relief when she found out Jennie was fine. She thought that the brunette woman might have passed out from exhaustion.

Afterward, she lifted and carry Jennie in her arms. The brunette woman was not that heavy so she could easily move its body to the bed in the other room. She turned on the AC and covered the brunette woman's body with a duvet.

"Why do you look so skinny?", Tzuyu whispered worriedly as she was staring at Jennie's face. After that, she left the brunette woman to rest. They will just wait for Jennie to wake up and then eat together.

"Where is Jennie?", asked the old woman who was busy chopping the vegetables.

Tzuyu didn't tell her grandmother what exactly happened to Jennie because the old woman might get worried.

"A~Ahmm...she's sleeping. I saw her sleeping peacefully in Lisa's room. Maybe, she was tired that's why she easily fell asleep", Tzuyu explained and then helped the old woman.

A few hours passed, and Jennie woke up. She finally regained consciousness. She stares at the ceiling while trying to remember what happened earlier.

After a while, all of the events that happened suddenly flashback in her mind.

Everything.

She was in a state of shock. She feels extreme fear and couldn't accept the fact that she tried to kill herself. She was terrified. She was in the state of being unwilling or unable to believe what she had done horrible thing back then.
