CHAPTER 28

A woman in a blue puff sleeves floral dress went to see and talk to Jisoo. The woman appealed to the bodyguard but she was not allowed because the club was not open yet.

"Can I speak to the owner of this club?", she said politely.

"Sorry, Miss. But the club is closed right now", the bodyguard replied.

"I really need to talk to Jisoo Kim. So please let me in."

"Miss, this club will open at 7:00 pm in the evening. Just comeback later if you want to see Mrs. Kim."

"This is an important matter that's why tell her I want to talk to her". The woman insisted and did not stop pleading with the bodyguard.

"Why you're so stubborn, Miss? Who are you? Does Mrs. Kim know you?". The bodyguard let out a deep sighed and try to be patient with the woman.

"I'm her friend", she answered.

Eventually, the guard allowed her to see Jisoo. "Alright, Miss. Follow me inside."

They entered inside the club and the guard lead the way to where Jisoo was. He saw her boss and Lisa at the front bar talking to each other.

Jennie's POV

Determine the Purpose.

Everything in life designed and made with purpose. When you discover your purpose, then your life takes on new meaning and direction.

"What am I here?"

I believe that everything has a purpose and everyone of us uniquely designed to fulfill it. When you talk about purpose, we're talking about what you can do to make an impact on others around you. We're talking about a sense of calling and investing a cause.

Calling is when you have a sense of "I'm made for this!". It's when you find the thing to do that makes you feel most alive.

Cause is found when you're able to say, "I'm moved to do something about this!".

Living in purpose is about investing your life in the things that matter most so that you live a life of mission and meaning. "Determine the purpose" is a second part of discovering your Life Word.

"Mrs. Kim, someone is looking for you."

"You see, we are talking here. Who is it?!"

"I'm sorry, Mrs. Kim but the woman was insistent. She says she needs to talk to you", the guard explained.

I was two steps away from them. And I can't see Jisoo Unnie from here because she is being blocked by the guard. But I could hear her voice clearly.

"Unnie......."

When I called her, she immediately stood up and slowly turned to me. There was a look of shock on her face. Her eyes were suddenly dripping with tears along with the smile on her lips.

"Jennie.....", she softly said.

As I heard her say my name, that's when I started to cry and quickly approached her to give her a long tight hug.

"Unnie.....I'm sorry!", I cried out.

"Hush now. I'm glad that your here", she whispered while softly caressing my back. Then, she let go of my embrace and looked at her left side. I saw a woman sitting beside her. I can't see her face because she's turned her back on me. I turned my gaze back to Unnie. "Who is she?", I asked and the look on her face suddenly changed.
