CHAPTER 50

Jisoo's POV

"Hello, You're Lisa's friend, right? Mrs. Kim Jisoo?". I heard a man's voice which made me surprised.

"Yes, it's me. Who are you? Why do you have her phone? Where's Lisa?", I asked confusedly.

"I won't tell you my name for some reason. I'm a private investigator. Mrs. Kim, I need you to trust me, okay? Now, listen to me. Lisa was being abducted right now.-".

I didn't let him finish talking. I swallowed the lump in my throat and took a deep breath before speaking.

"W~what did you say?! How can it happen?!", I asked with confusion.

"Mrs. Kim, Please, let me finish first. I'm in a hurry and I don't want to waste my time. I need to find Lisa ASAP. So please, just listen for now."

He abruptly stop to make sure I was listening and then continued what he was saying.

"Don't inform the police. Let us wait for 24 hours. If we didn't find Lisa and she is presumed to miss, you can file a report to the police. This conversation is just between the two of us. You don't have to say this to anyone. This is just a precaution and mostly, for her safety. Don't do anything and just wait for my call", he explained.

The call ended and left me with dread and fear after that conversation.

Where are you, Lisa?! Who did this to you?

I quickly message my wife, Chaeyoung to pick up our son from school. Thanks, God. She didn't ask me why Lisa can't make it for today. She was also there when Lisa promise Woo Jin that she would also take our son home after class.

I sit again and put down my phone on the table. I was thinking deeply about what happened to Lisa. I wondered who could do this to her. I have no idea.

I know how famous her parents are. Especially, her father. But here in Seoul, no one knows about Lisa's identity and her family background since Uncle Marco wanted to keep her daughter's life private after the incident that happened to Jennie a long time ago.

Lisa wherever you are, please be safe.

3:00 PM

Jennie's POV

I didn't come to the office today for the reason that V didn't allow me to go. From the moment I woke up until now, I've only been here at home. I can't do anything since all my stuff is in my office, even my laptop. So I couldn't even work from home. All I did was watch a movie on Netflix.

I'm so bored just being here at home.

Fortunately, V called me.

After a few minutes, we just finished talking on the phone. He told me he would pick me up because we were going somewhere. He did not mention any place. He just wants me to go with him.

And now, I'm waiting for his arrival. Then suddenly, the doorbell started ringing. It's him!

When I opened the door, I was greeted by a beautiful bouquet and a man hiding in the flowers he was holding.

"How long will you go to hide there? Even if you cover your face with that bouquet, I know who you are, Kim Taehyung", I smile broadly at his silliness but all I heard is his stifling laughter.

I get the bouquet and immediately asked him. "Where are we going?!".

"Secret!", V had a huge smile on his face while he offers his arm to me.

I gladly accepted it and cheerfully says, "Let's go now! Please, keep me safe wherever we go."

"Ma'am yes Ma'am!", he said while saluting me.
