Lisa's POV

The greatest writer in English and also a philosopher, William Shakespeare, once said, "Feel the pain until you feel no more".

But why I still feel the pain? Why this pain still here? When will it end?

In our desire to get rid of the pain, we become tired because our thoughts are tired, and something we have to do to avoid tiredness is to stop complaining, because that will drain our energy. When complaining stops energy comes back. So while I still have self-care left, I decided and convince myself to stop saying things like, "I'm swamped", I'm worn out", "I'm so tired". But most of the time, when burned out is about to happen, we have been moving at a radical pace over months or even years- a pace far beyond what we moves and does. Because everyone have an unhurried pace.

Miss, do you want another glass of whiskey?". The bartender asked me while my mind was busy thinking about what happened earlier. I nodded to him. I massage my temple as I felt like my brain was going to explode because of some questions running on my mind. What's going on? There seems to be something wrong with her actions. Why she acted like she doesn't know me? Is she pretending or what?! Why is she doing this to me?

I noticed how long they had been missing since they left me here. I looked at my wristwatch to see what time is it and I was startled because it's already 7:00 PM in the evening. The bar is already open and a lot of people coming inside.

As I drink the whiskey, the bartender suddenly talked to me. "I think that will be your last shot for tonight". I narrowed my eyebrows as I emptied the glass. "Why?!", I asked him when I finished the last shot. "Because you've already emptied this bottle of whiskey". He chuckled while showing the empty bottle to me. And then, I laughed at him. "That's why my head hurts?! Fck! I thought it's because of what I was thinking awhile ago". I stood up and was about to go when I remembered that Jisoo Unnie would come back here and still wants to talk to me. "Hey, when your boss finds me here, tell her I'm in her office," I said and bid my goodbye to the waiter.

-------

Lisa is already in the office; sitting on the couch while waiting for Jisoo to come back. She rested and lean back her head on the couch when she felt the influence of whiskey suddenly effects through her body. She felt like her head spinning and her body feels numb. She closed her eyes and once again, Lisa thought about it until she felt asleep.

Jisoo arrived at her office holding two bottles of beer. As she opened the door, Jisoo already saw Lisa who looked wasted and drunk. She sit beside her friend and yelled in disbelief. "Yah, you're already drunk while I'm not even starting?". Lisa woke up right away. "W~Who's dru~drunk?! M~Me? No! I~I'm not!". Lisa responded and sit properly. "Yah! Give me that!", she said.

She quickly took one of the beer from Jisoo's hand and about to emptied the bottle. Jisoo face-palm as she watch her friend's silliness. She snatched the bottle of beer from her friend and decided to take Lisa home. "Enough! I don't want you to throw up here in my office, you idiot!". Jisoo stood up and put the bottle on the table. She drink the half of her beer before she brought Lisa in her house.

Suddenly, Lisa speaks while she's drinking the beer. "What if Jennie really loss her memory?", Lisa murmured. Jisoo widened her eyes in surprised to what she heard and then she remembered her conversation with the doctor earlier. She put down her beer on the table and stepped closer to Lisa. "Let's go. I'll bring you home so you can rest already. Let's just talk about that tomorrow. Okay?", Jisoo said. She grabbed Lisa's arm and put it on her shoulder to help her friend walk. They went outside the bar and go home.

After a few hours, Jisoo and Lisa were already home. She helps Lisa get out the car. When they entered inside the house, Jisoo avoid making noise so that her wife, her son and Jennie do not wake up. Lisa was too heavy so it was difficult for her to moved. She walked slowdown because it was dim inside and only few lights were turned on. "Fck! This monkey is really heavy!", she blurted out.
