Lisa's POV

I'm with Jisoo Unnie and we are here at her club. And tonight, I just found out from Unnie that Jennie went to Los Angeles.

"She left." Jisoo Unnie said all of a sudden.

"What?". For a moment I looked confused, and took the last sip of whiskey from the glass I was holding.

Jisoo Unnie swirled the ice in her glass and then seriously looked at me.

"Jennie is no longer here in Korea."

Of course, I was surprised by what I heard. I didn't say anything and just listened quietly to her. Wanting to know more about Jennie.

So that night was the last time I would see her.

"She's now in L.A."

"I think two days ago now from what I read in her letter. She was invited there for an exhibit. Some of her pottery works including her masterpiece were acknowledged by the director of one of the most popular art galleries in Los Angeles."

"Isn't it her dream to show people her creations? It is now the time. That would be a great opportunity for her. Maybe, this is the sign or a way for Jennie to help herself to be healed and forget all the bad things that happened to her. Let's just support Jenduekie in her dream and be happy for her."

Jisoo Unnie patted my back and she took something from the pocket of her coat. She then handed me the white envelope.

"Here's the letter. It was just delivered this morning to my office. I don't know why she addressed it here at my club and not at home. But in case you want to know more about her plan, just read what was written inside."

I accepted it without hesitation.

"Maybe she doesn't want to let me know about it. But thanks for this. I appreciated it a lot." I forcibly smile and put the letter inside my pocket. I thanked her and then filled our glasses with whiskey.

"Come on, Lisayah! It's not because she doesn't want to. Maybe she thought that when you find out you will follow her there. How will she fix herself if she sees you all the time? Remember everything is still fresh with her. And because of that, she still can't face you. I hope you understand that".

Jisoo Unnie raised her glass to toss with me and I immediately did so. After that, we drank the whiskey together.

All of a sudden, I received a message from my father.

Come here to Paris. I need to talk to you.

After a long time, I just received a message from my father. Since that happened before, I chose not to talk to Dad. The only one that I always talk to is my Mom.

"Hey, what's the matter? You okay?", asked Jisoo Unnie while pouring our glasses with whiskey.

I went back in trance and looked at her.

"It's Dad."

"He texted me to go to Paris."

"And then? You guys are on good terms now? I thought you and Uncle haven't talked until now?".

"Business matters, I guess," I answered.

"Or maybe Uncle already knew what happened to you? Did Auntie also know about it? What do you think?"

"I guess they already know what happened to me. Jungkook said that for sure." I said and emptied the last shot of whiskey.

"So are you going to Paris?". Jisoo Unnie asked me and emptied also her glass then put her arm around my shoulder.
