Donald zoned out once again, just watching the baby in front of him. Though it was fucked up how his own kids got here, he didn't wanna be an absent father. At first it seemed that way since he was always busy, out drinking, clubbing and trying to get his mind off Ranae.

That hasn't happened yet, it's been a year and he just feel as if he's getting crazier and crazier.

De thought to himself, how dare this girl come into his life and then break his heart, after he done grew an attachment to her. He didn't like that one bit. Maybe he was obsessed with her, but was in denial.

He said it plenty of times before, but he misses her. A year passed and all he could think about was their whole on again and off again relationship. The good moments and the bad moments.

He hated how she just exited his life, trying to put him behind bars at that. All he could do was piece together every event that lead up to them separating, and it was hectic. It happened so fast.

Devante felt he grew as a person, he was able to admit to himself how badly he treated Ranae. Playing around with her feelings, treating her like a prisoner, controlling and manipulating her, no wonder she cut ties.

The first few months he was still pissed off about everything that went down with them, from fist fighting in California to showing up to court. Now, he just wanted to see her and genuinely apologize, hoping she would run back into his arms.

He still has the engagement ring tucked away in his room, bummed out at the fact he never got to propose to her. Sure it would've been a bit crazy back then, but he figured doing it now after saying sorry would change her mind about everything.

It's sad this is what his life has come to, thinking about some girl day and night, hoping for her to show up to his doorstep any day now. Or he could just show up to hers.

The restraining orders expired now, so if he really wanted to pop up on Ranae, he could. He's just been laying low for a while now so he wouldn't scare her off, having her think he's just been stalking her for the past year now. Though it seemed that's what he's been doing.

He just wanted to see her, badly. He feels that she can't hate him forever.

"Hello?? Earth to Devante." Trina pulled him from his thoughts.

He slowly blinked, somewhat tired "Wassup?"

"I've been calling you for like five minutes, it's time to feed the baby. Swing time is up." She reminded him and stopped the baby from swinging.

"Shit my bad, I was thinking." He stood up from the couch.

"About?"

De sighed "Don't even worry about it." Was all he told her.

Trina already knew just what or who Donald was thinking about, at this point it didn't make any sense to her. Why in the world is he still moping around about a girl he clearly didn't give a damn about? It was crazy.

Sometimes she regretted having a baby by this dude. Half the time he was suppose to be watching the baby, he was too busy daydreaming about a failed relationship. His brother was right, he is obsessed.
