Night 1 - Ace

A/N OK IMMA SORRY THIS IS ACE'S POV AGAIN BUT IT WAS ORIGINALLY CONETCTED TO THE LAST CHAPTER BUT IT WAS TOO LONG TO I JUST CUT IT, BUT I HAD ALREADY WRITTEN I TALL IN ACE'S POVE SO JUST TAKE IT IN THE ASS.

Chapter 11

Night 1

Ace

I gave out a heavy sigh as we finally reached the bus. We's fought out all the zombies as we waited for Katrissa to arrive in the bus running straight over the pack of them, leaving only about one or two.

"Holy shit man, Holy shit."I murmured as I wiped the sweat off my forehead.
Dean treated Blake's sprained ankle and grazed knee as Echo held Him down. Alice only had a swollen ankle so it wasn't that bad but Dean also had to treat her. Out of all of us Dean, Blake and Alice were our medics. At the moment Claude was driving and Katrissa had fallen asleep leaning on Dawn as Dawn had also fallen asleep. It was already dark, my watch telling me, 6:45. I sighed as I leaned back resting the back of my hand on my forehead. Soon enough we would have to change driving shifts. We had decided to keep on moving throughout the night. The head lights weren't very bright and the vehicle was quite loud. I stood up and walked over to where the disabled seats were, to see how Blake was doing. He just lay there, the back of his hand covering his eyes. Dean stood next to him trying to comfort him as Echo talked with Alice, Scarlette and Ender, who were all busy eating. After all that hell I wasn't in the mood for eating but I knew if I didn't eat I wouldn't have any energy. I seated myself next to my sister as she immediacy rested her head on my shoulder falling asleep. Watching her sleep Immediately made me feel sleepy, causing me to fall asleep not so long after her.
I woke to the sound of Echo clicking her fingers in front of my face. I carefully moved Faye's head so she was leaning on the window, not wanting to wake her. Echo smiled before following me over to wheel as I quickly swapped places with a very sleepy looking Claude. After a few instructions I got the hang of driving and just kept on going. We didn't really know where we were going, our aim was just to survive.
"Hey, Echo, go get some sleep."I ordered as she rolled her eyes.
"You can't control my life!"she laughed as she walked away, taking a seat next to Scarlette who was fast asleep.
It was probably the worst night I'd ever had. I had to Make sure I stayed on the road, awake and keep driving no matter what, and hit everything that runs in front of the bus or gets in the way. The rest of the night I hardly remembered, I was just dead tired. When I woke I was propped against the window on one of the back seats. I immediately checked the time, drawing my wrist close to my face, 7:39. As expected it was bright outside. I gave a heavy sigh and tried to move but only then did I realise Echo's head lying heavily on my shoulder. I had an immediate reaction of desire to draw on her face. But I simply ignored it but instead, poked Dawn's sleeping in the seat in front of me, with Alice next to her.
"Hey Dawn, quick take the chance and take a picture!"I whispered to her as she held back her laughter, quickly slipping out her iPhone, snapping a picture.
"You guys are so dead."laughed Alice.
We both quietly giggled as I decided to finally wake her up.
"Hey Echo move your ass."I laughed as I poked at her face.
"Hm? Yeah I'm movin, keep your pants on."Echo Answered tiredly back as she stretched.
I laughed as I stood up walking to the front of the bus to see my tired sister driving.
"How're you?"I asked smiling at her as she glared back.
"Glad you're well. Your shift is almost over."I said to her hoping it would lighten her mood.
As I turned back I noticed Blake and Dean sitting next to each other, asleep leaning on each other. Suki and Claude were in a similar position except Claude was leaning on the window and Suki was leaning on his shoulder. I quickly glanced around for Scarlette and Ender, also to find them sleeping next to each other but very separately unlike he others. Behind them slept Katrissa, Now leaning on Echo who'd moved. When I turned around I noticed Echo'd convinced Dawn to be daring and take photos of all the sleeping 'pairs'. They all giggled but froze to the feeling of the bus suddenly slowing down, not long after stopping.
"Shit."Faye swore, which was rare.
I ran to the front to find her trying to start up the bus again, desperately.
"Guys? What's wrong?"asked Dawn with a worried tone, her back turned.
She was busy looking out the back window watching the pack of infected which continuously stalked us.
"Shit, shit, shit."we both swore as I also tried to help start it up again.
"We're out of petrol!"Faye erred angrily as she gave up, leaning back in her chair.
"Get everyone up now!"Echo snapped as she stood up clapping her hands.
Dean was a heavy sleeper so I started with Blake first.
"Bro, wake up Dean for me."I said loudly as he nodded tiredly.
Soon enough the whole bus was awake and panicking.
"Frick!"shouted Kat as she stuck her head out one of the broken windows, glancing back at the horde slowly coming closer.
"I remember, there was a petrol station not too far back."commented Dean as he massaged his temples.
"Ok, we need to split up. Half of us will stay here and take care of the bus the other group'll go get petrol with Dean."Scarlette half ordered and suggested.
"Yep, what she said."Faye stated, agreeing with her.
"That's what she said?"asked Dawn not listening to her properly.
"My gosh, Ace, what the hell is wrong with your friends?"Laughed Faye a touch of sarcasm in her tone.
"So, dumb asses. Suki, Scarlette, Faye and Bl-no Alice since you're injured-"but before Ender could finish Blake interfered.
"Don't worry I'm ok I'll go with Dean. And good grammar,"Blake butted in, complimenting Ender's use of 'asses'.
"Shut up." Ace quickly responded sourly.
"Sure, whatever, if you die it's not my problem. Anyway, fine then Alice, Ace, Echo, Dawn, Katrissa and Claude stay back with me to protect the bus and all our supplies."ordered Ender.
You would think to send more people out but I guess all of us were just too scared of losing people if we sent too many out at once.
"Kay kay."I responded as we all got ready to split up.
The group of four following Dean were all getting ready with their weapons and some water.
"Just see if you can find like a jug or like a massive bottle thing, and fill it up with petrol. Try not to explode or set anything on fire."Katrissa smiled as she handed Suki her two sharp rods.
"Nuh duh!"Blake grunted back with a stupid expression.
"Good luck!"I waved as they exited the bus. Immediately sneaking down the street.
We all quickly crowded around the windows watching them Immediately plunge straight into battle.
I'm sure they'll be fine....
