A/N – We are ranked #1 in #vixen today so woohoo!😎 Also, I am happy most of you admired Nani's stance in previous chapter. She is supposed to be arshi's guiding angel 😊

And, about Arnav's parents' deaths, I was surprised how they never clearly addressed this in the show. Taking lives IS NOT OK. Arnav felt devastated after his mother's death, but he also needed to acknowledge suicide is not an option. We all face numerous issues in our lives and there are countless times we might feel helpless, but we need to reach out for help from friends and family and talk to them. At the same time if someone around you needs help, try to be there for them. Be empathetic.😇

Enough of my preaching, now onto update –

When Arnav returned to their room it was almost midnight. A lot had transpired in the last few hours. From finding his wife almost getting herself run over to him finding a poison bottle in her bag which led to their heated confrontation and finally him learning about some dark secrets from his own past. It was too much to take in but his conversation with nani had helped him set his mind in right perspective.

He knew what he clearly wanted from his life, from their life, he wanted to salvage their marriage and free them both from the demons of their past! The road ahead was difficult, but when had Arnav Singh Raizada been afraid of challenges?

On the other hand, Khushi too had cleared her mind after talking to Shyam. She had prepared a full speech on what she wanted to do, 'Apologize to him. Confess that she indeed had dislike for him, there was no point in taking that back now, since she herself had blurted it out. And finally request him to set her free.' She had talked to Shyam and according to him the best way was her to support the plan from outside. It was too impossible to continue the charade now. And when the reason why she agreed to marry him, itself was no longer there, she didn't see a reason why she would continue to bind herself to him. In fact, she was sure he would also be happy to let him ago. After all, didn't he just say, 'girls like her were only after money'? and he hated her?

She didn't know why but every time he said something like that, the mean words from his mouth would pierce her heart. And she hated that he had that much authority over her heart..

"Ye kya kar rahi ho (what are you doing)?" Arnav asked her as he saw her packing her bag in haste.

Khushi stiffened momentarily. She had thought he would not return until morning and by then she would leave the house. They could think how to go about legal proceedings for the separation later, for she was sure that is what he too wanted.

So his arrival took her by shock.

But quickly composing herself, she turned to answer him, "humein yaha se jana chahiye (I should leave from here)" she replied in a calm voice. Only the slight quiver in her tone was unmissable

Of course. He should have known. After all that they both said to each other, what did he expect would happen in their room? How would she know what he had just come to know of?

Smiling lightly, he slowly walked towards her. Khushi took a step back in alarm. What was he doing? Was he drunk, her mind asked?

But when reached near her, he leaned in as if to hold her and she closed her eyes on reflux. However, when she didn't feel anything touching her, she opened her eyes only to see Arnav had calmly started unpacking her bag.

Wait, what?

"Ye aap kya kar rahe hain?" she asked holding his hand to stop him from further unpacking
